The staff are always welcoming and create a relaxing and calm environment in the practice. The practice always communicate really good with texts and calls to confirm appointments so I never miss one. At a time when dentists are hard to find I'm lucky to have what I consider to be the best in the area as my dentists.
Just want share an absolutely wonderful experience I am having at this place it’s truly a beautiful place you feel welcomed and never judged or looked down at as I have been going to this practice for a short time now but the staff from the moment you walk in at the desk are so welcoming they are incredible and I just want to do a big shout out to CHARLOTTE for bringing back my smile ! Outstanding woman !nSecondly a shout to Nathan for organising the treatment for me.nn10/10 practise would highly recommend
I'm not good with going to the dentist ... petrified is the word. As my dentist retired I looked for a new one and found Carmen at 'my dentist 'in Dukinfield. This is my second visit and I wasn't filled with dread as usual. The receptionist was lovely and I filled in a form and was directed to the waiting room. The practice is really clean , modern and very welcoming . Carmen was on time for my appointment the nurse was pleasant and efficient , Carmen explained everything that she was doing and did a complete check up. All was good and I'm back for another check up in 9 months. I'm so pleased I've found a good dentist! Thank you My Dentist!
Extortion of extra money on route to appointment.nnSeveral weeks ago I called to book a simple hygienist appointment. I’ve used my dentist for years but this was the first time using the dukinfield branch. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to a service of a new or possibly more in depth cleaning service they offer for £88 I said no thank you I just need a quick clean and was told ok. That £58. That’s the price it has always been on the several times I’ve used this company and they took payment over the phone on the day of the appointment as usual.nnHowever a week later and 90mins before the appointment just after I had left work early to go and was on route to the dentist they called me and stated it was actually £88 and I needed to pay £30 or they’d not be able to go through with the appointment. I was walking to the appointment at the time. After initially agreeing i sat down and checked my bank and the website to check I had definitely paid £58 every other time and the website states £58 and called back and explained to them that I wasn’t happy paying extra for the service. They tried to tell me this is the price of a hygienist and a new patient fee which I challenged with my bank statements and that I have always been charged £58 by my dentist including the first time I went and was told they’d have to contact the manager. Who then called me and said there had been a mistake. That they thought I wanted the £88 in depth clean which I didn’t want or ask for or pay for. They offered to “honor” the £58 and stated they’d be “no hard feelings” which at that point destroyed the confidence and trust I had in them had to cancel the appointment and go home.nnBest case scenario it was a simple mistake but calling a patient a week later and an hour and a half before the appointment and asking for more money is even at best a massive red flag. And unprofessional and at worst it’s immoral and an ongoing thing they do in the hopes people will be too nervous to challenge them and just pay more.nnI’m hoping I’m a one off mistake that they can’t own up to and it’s never happed before and won’t again. But on the off chance they’re calling patients to extort more money out of them minutes before their appointment I feel it necessary to leave this review to warn people.
If I could give less than 1 star I would.nnSo you have no space for NHS patience but you do for Private Patience. How ironic.nnAbsolutely disgusting, all about the £££
