Lovely people and beyond fantastic service to begin with, but cleaning quality deteriorated drastically over time. Our cleaner would sometimes leave up to 40 minutes early without telling us, even though some things she had been asked to do had clearly not been done. We are not awkward people and don't like to complain but this didn't sit right with us, and on the last clean we had to clean the house ourselves after work as it had been done so poorly. Things had not been moved to be dusted or vacuumed and there were clumps of cat hair, dead flies and cobwebs behind every object in the hallway. It looked as though a couple of rooms had not been vacuumed at all. By the look of it, she had not been moving things and just cleaning around them for quite a while. When telling Alison about this, we got no apology or explanation, and were just told that she would be stopping our cleans completely and that our cleaner said "she done her best". We emailed back saying this was a shame and asked if she'd like pictures of how the house had been left, but Alison did not reply at all. Extremely saddening considering we had been their customers for over two years, and this is how our service with them ended.
Excellent cleaning service. I've used quite a few cleaning firms in the local area and none of them compares to My Perfect Housekeeper. The clean is always excellent and nothing is missed. Week after week, I get a really good thorough clean, and I love that they use eco friendly cleaning products. First class service!
