Our clinicians have a wealth of experience enabling them to offer advice and treatment on all aspects of dental care.We currently have a waiting list for NHS patients but hope to be accepting patients again soon.The practice has disabled parking on the street outside and wheelchair access but no disabled toilet available.There is free 30 minute parking outside and free parking over the road.The practice is a 2 minute walk from the train station"

Terrible service . The dentists tend to start treatment and then leave the practice I was then told for the rest of my treatment I was no longer entitled to free treatment on the nhs to which I am Entitled. I was told the tooth removed by the dentist and losing the ill fitted bridge that fell out on 6 separate occasions I would now have to pay privately to fix. The receptionist seemed to find this funny when I questioned it. Very unprofessional . I have since been informed by complaints department that i AM" entitled to get this work finished . Work that was done by an unprofessional dentist who couldn't complete the dentistry required at the time done in on the nhs . So people be aware this dentist may try to charge you when your entitled to your free treatment on the nhs. If your treated un fairly then certainly take your complaints further as to make this service better for everyone else. As for the rude very unhelpful receptionist I would recommend some further training and maybe a brush up in manners .
I have been a happy patient of this dentist for 30 years, no problems, very happy with the service. That was until I broke my tooth & needed to see my dentist. I was informed that I had been moved to another dentist within the practice without my knowledge or consultation. I have now registered with a much better dentist much nearer home. My Dentist have made some poor decisions since taking over from Berwick Dental Practice.
I am a new patient here having had a terrible experience with the other dental provider in berwick town bad fillings, no anaesthetic etc I was naturally very nervous joining a new provider. I have had three visits in the past year with repairing previous bad dental work both acute urgent and planned care. I get to see the same fabulous dentist kim, the dental nurses are friendly, the receptionists are very helpful and the department is well organiaed and clean. This dentist surgery is a credit to NHS care and others should look at its model as the standard patients should recieve. As a patient I am thankful that this is available to us in berwick and appreciate that the NHS doesn't always get it right - 10/10 for me.
I have been a grateful patient at this dental practice for over 30 years and have witnessed the NHS service going through some difficult changes when many local dentists left the NHS to take up Private practices. We are fortunate to still have this excellent NHS practice providing an exemplary service in our area. While I agree with the previous reviewer when he says that nobody ‘enjoys’ an outing to the dentist!, Mr Learmonth and his staff have always been professional, courteous and helpful and have always gone out of their way to make sure the process was as easy and painless as possible.
I have been with this dental practice for over 30 years, I was in agony with toothache and was told there were no appointments , I phoned 3 days running only to be told they had nothing but I was on their waiting list, that was 6 weeks ago, I’ve now registered with a new dentist who managed to see me within 24 hours, what a disgrace, oh and I’m still waiting to be told my actual dentist has now retired , I won’t be back. Oh and my new dentist is lovely.
I would like to say a big thank you to your wonderful dental practice.I was there today to have 4 front teeth restored by Kim Kerr,she has made a fantastic job of my teeth,she is a great dentist and very good at what she does,credit to you Kim.Also a big thank you to your 2 very helpful and happy staff on reception.Keep up the good work its a credit to you all. Rung yesterday. Severe toothache/headache. Booked me in for today. Tooth out. Thanks so much to Carlos and his nurse. They were great. Even had a laugh. Covid procedure followed. Totally recommend
Carlos is a fantastic dentist and has helped me to build my confidence loads as I am an extremely anxious patient because of some difficult health issues which impact on my pain and ability to open my jaw well. The reception staff are helpful, organised and patient. Hence the 4star rating. Carlos is very kind and professional. My whole experience however, due to the extremely poor attitude of the dental nurse, was very upsetting and fractious for me. She was looking at me while we were waiting for carlos to prep and I tried to engage her in conversation.."look at me willingly getting on the chair this time hahaha"..stared at me and turned away. "Oh, how rude are you today?" i said quietly I felt a bit stupid being blatantly ignored tbh..."i heard you mutter there and don't have to take it from you so don't do it I can do without it:.I heard you talk to me but chose not to speak to you!" That = rude in my manners and how to be a pleasant human being book Suggestion....maybe a little training in customer service required.....challenged my comment but didn't bother speaking to me when I was trying to calm my nerves and be nice in the first place! Absolutely disgusting attitude with a proper twisty face for the rest of the appointment ...go to this dentist but watch out for that one till she is on a good day!
Befor even actually ever getting to see a dentist, the experiance of trying to register and make an emergancy appointment was shocking. receptionist did'nt realise that you can actually fill in registration form on the day you come in for the appointment, then stating there was non till july, that i can except. Then did not like every other dental practice and Drs EVEN the dental practice who gave me there NUMBER! offer the service of but if you try start of opening hours to see if any cancelations or emergancy appoimtments came in. so when i said o.k i will try somewhere else the reply i got was Nae bover and put the phone down. so if thats the level of service befor your foot is through the door..... oh and you have to rate to be able to post otherwise zero star it would be!
Thanks to My Dentist Berwick upon tweed and especially to Kim Kerr and her dental assistant for the caring and professional support I received whilst having a wisdom tooth removed, this dental practice do a fabulous job and nothing is too much trouble for them, they are friendly, kind and professional and highly recommended
