Not tried it in the evening but had several Saturday lunches here that have always been very good. Reasonable prices, good menu choices and friendly, attentive staff. Immediately open to the street so good for people watching!
Fantastic food and very friendly staff. Didn't have the sirloin but had rib eye and at the same price and cooked perfectly. Even better. Highly recommended.

Overall pretty good. Food was delicious, but the salads as mains were about half the size that I would have expected them to be. Service was great, decor and furnishings were also excellent and they had a good mix of bar, outdoor and a la carte areas.
This was a lovely place to eat, along with great customer service. However, i found it hard to find a parking space.
Love eating here in the sunny garden with views of Colchester Castle. Food is excellent and reasonably priced.
