What a wonderful experience and food. We came here at the end of a couple of days on Bute, we’d visit Musicker again if we were here longer. Such a warm friendly welcome and service. The coffee and homemade vegan cakes were fantastic, and with a selection of four it was hard to choose, but we had apple & cinnamon and chocolate & black cherry. Delicious! The vegan savoury food options looked really good too. The cafe has a lovely relaxed feel to it with good music and seating arrangements that feel private and cosy. Oh, and the toilet is very clean - an important plus :
Great wee cafe with excellent cake selection and gluten free options. The kids loved the hot chocolate with marshmallows and the coffee was good. Loved the music theme and honesty juke box.Food: 5/5
Lovely vegetarian and vegan cafe with tasty food, great coffee, freindly staff and a musical theme. This was my first visit to Rothesay, and I will be calling in to The Musicker Cafe next time I visit. The Sour Dough Panini with veggie haggis and cranberry sauce was wonderful.
Vegan apple cake is to die for, a multitude of milk alternatives for fabulous lattes, soups are always deeelish and the staff are without a doubt the loveliest in town! Vegetarian options: Soup is allways veggie and day trippers can phone in a takeaway order to stock up on everything needed for picnics Dietary restrictions: They've got you covered from Gluten allergies to meat and cheese alternatives!
Staff in the café where so nice our latte and the tea and the empire biscuit also the red velvet cheese cake made from yoghurt was so delicious we forgot to taken a photo of it From Denis and Clare the Rutherglen pair
Popped in this afternoon with my daughter. As a meat eater, this was my first experience of a vegetarian cafe. Wonderful! Can't wait to return.
Very busy cafe right by the castle, we had Panninis which were really good and served with fresh salad and the coffee was excellent with a choice of regular or strong. The cakes are first class as well. Top tip, it opens at 10am get there early!
Lovely café with very friendly and polite staff. The food is very tasty. You get vegetarian and vegan meals!

Had lunch here a couple of times during our short stay on the island. Great service and wonderful freshly made/home cooked soup, variety of sandwiches, toasties pannines etc plus cakes. Well worth popping in for a bite.
