Great venue. We visited to catch Fish on his Road to the Isles tour and were really impressed with the layout and accessibility. Nice bar/restaurant with reasonable prices and the building has been dealt with sympatrically according to it's age and history.nAs a concert venue, the acoustics were brilliant. Excellent sound quality from the stage and even better, when audience participation was called for, it was clear. Made the whole night very memorable.
I visited here for the Beluga Lagoon gig and what a fantastic venue. Beautiful looking from the outside it's an absolutely remarkable looking building.nnHowever as we queued to enter a few people decided they were not happy with the size of the queue and went to the other side and started a separate smaller queue. Surely a barrier to say queue from one side would be the best thing.nnOnce inside we were really impressed with the acoustics, and the size of the hall. The toilets were well looked after. One issue though was the bar, definitely not enough staff on as queues were massive.nnA brilliant venue, and with some tweaks could definitely be a 5 star place.
As an event space it was good, beautiful space with murals on the walls well organised and a quite speedy exit at the end of the event, I didn't get drinks so I can't comment on prices.
I had the opportunity last night on behalf of Aberdeen North Food Bank to raise funds for a worthy cause. At the same time SQUEEZE was playing and I am a huge fan. So it worked out quite well in that way. The venue is awesome, the staff are very professional and friendly. And the band, well let’s just say it was a blast.nnThank you to everyone and for the support!
What a fantastic night out at the music hall! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch.nThe bar service was incredibly efficient, meaning no long waits for a pre-show drink. It's always a good sign when the toilets are clean, and these certainly were. Inside the hall, the comfortable seats made for a pleasant viewing experience, and the view of the show was excellent no matter where you were sitting.nA special treat was enjoying ice cream during the interval – a perfect little indulgence. When the show ended, the exit from the venue was just as efficient as everything else, avoiding any frustrating queues.nOverall, a truly enjoyable evening and a highly recommended venue!
