Really disappointed by my experience at the Music Hall. My friend urgently needed the toilet, and although one staff member said it was fine, another stopped us because we didn't have tickets and said we'd need to buy one just to use the toilet.nThe ironic part is we've even made donations to this venue in the past, so this was genuinely surprising.nFor a public community venue, this felt unnecessarily unwelcoming. A little compassion and consistency would have gone a long way.
I was really disappointed by my experience at the Music Hall. It's a public building alongside places like the library and art gallery, yet I was shocked by how we were treated.nnI was there with a friend who urgently needed to use the toilet. One member of staff kindly said it was fine, but then another staff member came over and said absolutely not because we didn't have tickets. We were effectively told we would have to buy a ticket just to use the toilet.nnWhat makes it even more disappointing is that we've even made donations to this venue in the past, so this treatment was genuinely surprising.nnThis policy seems completely unreasonable, especially for a public venue. The inconsistency between staff members made the situation even more frustrating and embarrassing. A little compassion and common sense would have gone a long way.nnVery disappointing customer service, and not the welcoming atmosphere you would expect from a community venue.
I visited here for the Beluga Lagoon gig and what a fantastic venue. Beautiful looking from the outside it's an absolutely remarkable looking building.nnHowever as we queued to enter a few people decided they were not happy with the size of the queue and went to the other side and started a separate smaller queue. Surely a barrier to say queue from one side would be the best thing.nnOnce inside we were really impressed with the acoustics, and the size of the hall. The toilets were well looked after. One issue though was the bar, definitely not enough staff on as queues were massive.nnA brilliant venue, and with some tweaks could definitely be a 5 star place.
Attended the Aberdeen craft beer festival here which was brilliant with lots of people and organised well! The venue was very clean and impressive but the only nag i found was having to present my wristband for most of the day to show i have bought tickets for this event. Perhaps it just me but it did feel constant i never even left the venue.
Good venue for concert, very friendly staff, reasonable prices
