Definitely don't miss this unique experience. Brilliant location. Superb displays. Excellent tour guides. Informative, for all ages. Architect designed museum building and unique lighthouse in a castle. I'll be going back.
Very interesting place to visit. This museum keeps amazing, very well presented collection. Friendly and professional staff. Lovely cafe with the stunning sea views. And of course the guided tour to the lighthouse was the best.
Drawn to visit with an interest in what is such a central part of our islands history. Warm welcome from all the staff who clearly love their work here. Highly recommend the tour if available it was expected run by Micheal who brought everything to life for us. Lots of exciting things coming in 2021 too!
Excellent museum covering all aspects of the history of Scotland's lighthouses. Also an interesting guided tour to the very top of Kinnaird castle lighthouse.

A very interesting place to see. The cafe/restaurant is clean and the service was excellent and food was luscious. We had the window table with a panoramic view, lovely. In all, well worth a visit.
Very interesting and educational! Learnt many things from this museum. The guided tour to the lighthouse by Michael was also excellent! I would recommend the guided tour.
