As promised in my earlier review, I was back tonight. And I can confirm that chips are great, chunky, tasty, made from freshly peeled and cut potatoes. Tonight I tried Roast Duck in plum sauce... I can only say one thing... I was disappointed I didn't try that last time That was the best duck in plum sauce I had up to date!!! And I try this every place serving a duck in plum sauce. Guys, you made me not only full , but you put a little smile on my face and given a hope that there is still someone actually caring about customers and about the taste. Good job, and forgive me, but next time the choice is obvious - Roast Duck in plum sauce, number 77 on the menu!!! If you ask me for score from 1 to 10, tonight I give you 20!!! Please, don't spoil it as I will be back! 23.01.2023 Great chips, chunky, very tasty. I haven't had a bad meal. Fish is lovely, salt pepper chicken wings are excellent, and the special curry is always a hit.
Chips are great, aren't they? I mean come on, what's better than some greasy ass chips smothered with salt and vinegar and topped with a delicious, creamy curry, and don't get me started on the sausages, juicy chunky and plump, nearly melt in your mouth if they don't melt your mouth of with the intensity of the heat they release when you sink your teeth into them and it just £1.70 for a large portion of chips that could feed 3 grown adults depending on the person serving you and about £1 for a sausage you can't really go wrong, and for a further £1 why not add some curry. Chance it, I guarantee that your meal will satisfy your taste buds, and your appetite.
The staff are very arrogant, rude, unhelpful. The customer service is apualing. Won't be going having one of these again because they gave me burnt, scabby chips I wouldn't of even fed my dog and delt with the issue like it was my fault. Dolphin Chippy for me defo worth the 4 quid delivery to ours.
Just had the worst sweet and sour chicken I've ever had. I was expecting a rich sweet sauce with peppers onions carrots onions pineapple ect. With battered chicken pieces. What a got was a bag of large chicken nuggets with a sauce devoid of any substance at all oh I tell a lie there was 1 slice of carrot. Wont be eating there again.
Bland, the food as no taste just like the people who eat there night after night typical council estate chippy full of fat birds in leggings with 5 snotty nosed brats who the state pay for. However the portions are generous just like their customers but lacking taste and quality. The staff look like they are forced to work there, seen more carisma in a concentration camp. So no pretty grim
Salt and pepper chicken wings and chips excellent , Fish are superb good size , BBQ spare ribs are small portions with a very weak and runny sauce
It is a good chip shop but latly its been hitand miss my last order wasnt good the chips wasnt fresh and the pie was stale not ordered since
Love this chippy, food is great and staff are always friendly. The delivery varies from time to time but this depends on how busy they are but it usually very fast. Whenever I want a quick meal I would order from here.
Ordered over the phone and placed an order, forgot my partners meal and once I rang I was told I was wrong and I didn't ask for it, so once they sent it out they get to my door and ask me to pay for the item which they made the mistake, amount was 1.60 which conveniently I left a 1.60 tip when they first dropped the order off so told them to sod off, as my girlfriend finally got her meal there was hair in the meal, they should wear hair nets but they don't, I can understand why they have a 1 star health rating and 1 star food safety rating , avoid this place
