No matter what time of year you play , the course is in great condition. The staff make you feel most welcome, and the green staff make it ever more enjoyable by placing pins in hard to get places - like on the green .
Played on 22nd December. Friendly staff, and good practice facilities, then on to the course. Although fairway mats were in use, which is totally understandable at this time of year, course was interesting and challenging and still on summer greens which were excellent. A fantastic overall experience which I hope to repeat in the future.
We came up to Aberdeen to play a 3 day open encompassing Cruden Bay, Trump and Royal Aberdeen. We had a late flight the next day so decided to give Murcar a try, having seen it from Royal Aberdeen. We’re so glad we did. What an amazing course. Really stunning holes, quite tight in places. But massively enjoyed it. The greens were the best we played on the trip. Best of all was the people who run the club. The pro shop was the friendliest I’ve ever experienced. The bar staff and food were fantastic. And when we struggled to get a taxi to the airport because it was a Friday and every taxi firm was busy. The club steward’s husband and junior organiser kindly ran us there. What a great guy! And what a club! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Smart and challenging links course Just N of Aberdeen. Course in beautiful condition. Customer service good. Buggies power carts and hand carts available for those who fly into Scotland. Blind shots and lots of run on dry summer links. Like the course- would recommend. Nice cafe/restaurant
North of Aberdeen today with some time to spare so I went to have a look at Murcar Links. Never been before and even though I wasn’t playing I was made very welcome both in the clubhouse and by the resident professional. Members were friendly and the food was excellent. I will definitely come back to play as the course looked excellent. A very positive experience.
I don’t often come on google to rate anything, but Murcar was a very special golf course so I felt compelled! From the moment we arrived all the staff we spoke to could not have been more helpful and welcoming... from the charming pro shop team to the lovely lady behind the bar. The course itself is a proper links challenge, is immaculately manicured and has real character. Just don’t expect to hit long coming back into the wind on the back 9!

This is a wonderful course with beautoful views I played it in July with baked fairways and it looked super! Greens were amazing to putt on and also the staff are very helpful and friendly so if your in Aberdeen def is a course to play
Visited last week with 2 chums from Alwoodley in Leeds. Lovely welcome from the pro Gary who gave us some swing tips. The range was excellent with good quality balls and turf. We warned up on the 9 hole which was a challenge. The main course was beautifully set up with every hole bringing a different view and layout. Greens were fast and true. The meal after was lovely and we had a great day. Totally recommend if you're around Aberdeen.
