Be careful that No floodlights after sunset…. Even if you can book it from 19:00 - 21:00, make no sense…..
There is NO tokens for using the floodlights after dark, even though their website says so.
The website said you can rent the rackets form the MAC main reception, YOU CAN NOT. So if you don’t have your own rackets do not come here.
Free tennis court but have to book 5 days before, nice place tho
This is mostly always busy. Therefore you do have to book your tennis session online prior to arrival. The car park is chargeable and it either accepts correct change or you can pay with the RingGo app. Some people just start playing without booking so it can be awkward to challenge some people as social etiquette isn't their strong point. The double doors have been vandalised as a large area of the metal netting is missing and the ball can go straight through which would become a nuisance if using the middle court of the three. Overall it's a decent park but it is frequented by some undesirables whom appear to think that it is acceptable to let their canine excretion remain on the ground and others feel leaving alcoholic cans on the floor and listening to rubbish 'music' is normal practise. Civilised homosapiens these are certainly not l'm afraid to say. Over and out.
My tennis friends and I ,really enjoy using the tennis courts in cannon Hill Park. They are kept clean and tidy and it a great place too improve on your tennis skills and socialise with others. Other great attractions near by and beautiful scenery everywhere!!
Decent courts but the nets are a bit shabby. Given these are the premier central tennis courts in Birmingham I would like to see the nets fixed on a more regular basis.
Great for playing tennis. When it has rained a lot, the court is slippy. Had a problem with teenagers trying to play football. I asked them to leave, and they did eventually.
they don’t say anywhere on the website that you need to first call the MAC and ask if they have tokens available. We went all the way to the place for nothing
Nice place, plenty to do..no more free parking though!
