If we could have rated this nursery higher than 5, we would have done.nThey have been, and continue to be absolutely brilliant with our 2 year old and almost 1 year old.nWhen I first returned to work after having our first daughter, I was nervous about leaving her for the first time with people she and we didn't know. These worries very quickly disappeared as the staff there were incredible with her.nA special mention to Erin, Georgia and Annie who were all in the little room when she joined. They were reassuring, friendly, caring and just amazing, not only to her but also to us as parents. They provided frequent updates on how her day was going and she very quickly didn't want to even say goodbye to us and just went running into one of the girls.nShe has now been there about a year and a half and it is one of her favourite places to go. She loves all of the staff especially Sam, Jade and Rosie and has so many lovely friends. She has grown massively in confidence and is so independent through their support and guidance. They assisted greatly with her potty training and followed what we had been doing at home to support her in learning to use the potty.nWhen we had our little boy, we had no doubts about where we would be sending him when I returned to work.nHe has recently started at Munchkins and once again the nursery has been fantastic. He has taken a bit of time to settle but the staff in his room Georgia, Erin and Jess have been nothing but amazing with providing support and reassurance to us and lots of cuddles and care to him. They always have the childrens best interest at heart and will follow their routines/needs to help them transition to being at nursery.nAlso Natalie, the manager has been a great support, especially in our numerous calls to nursery to see how they are settling and how their days are going. As parents to young children, returning to work and leaving them can be daunting and horrible, but Natalie is always on the end of the phone to provide reassuring updates and the staff in the rooms are always updating with things they have been doing on their online learning journey.nAn amazing nursery that I would recommend to anyone!!
My daughter started attending Munchkins Brightlingsea at 9 months old. Her communication developed so quickly and now at the age 24 months, she chats so well, with a clear emotional understanding of others around her. Attending nursery has never been a problem, and she runs in given the chance, as she loves spending time with her peers and the supporting team. We love that Munchkins encourages outdoor play and promotes appreciation for nature.
My son is 2 and attends Munchkins nursery and he absolutely loves it, he comes back from every session having learnt something new that day. Nothing but good things to say about the nursery and the lovely staff. Sending your little ones off to be in someone else’s care can be really hard but I always send him in without a worry in my mind, knowing he’s in the absolute best hands.
My daughter has been going to Munchkins nursery since it first opened. She has really thrived since being there, her confidence has grown and she has made many friendships with both the children and the staff. She looks forward to her days at nursery and is always learning something new. I am able to drop her off knowing she’s going to have a fun filled day. The staff are all so lovely and send you updates on what your child has been up to during the day. We have no complaints and are hoping our youngest daughter will join the Munchkins family soon!
When they first opened my first child was already attending a childcare and I did not want to change it but always said if I have a second child I will definitely use Munchkins Nursery in Brightlingsea. Guess what! It did happen! My daughter attends 1 full day a week at the moment since September and I can highly recommend this place! It's very stylish, modern, all staff are very lovely and caring. Personal compliment to Annie, she is so lovely!!! What an amazing place for your children.
