Beautiful food. Staff excellent.

Only ordered from here a few times, last month was the first time I tried it. But I must say the food is absolutely beautiful. Best Indian food I’ve ever had. Delivery is always amazing and friendly driver. Food is always hot and beautiful. Well worth the money!! I will not be going to a different takeaway restaurant again

Fantastic food! We paid a visit here last night for our friends 60th birthday and what a real treat. Because there were around 70 of us there we all had a set meal so not sure of the actual names but one was chicken one was king prawn and the other was lamb and they were beautiful!! The staff were extremely friendly helpful and quick as well lead by khalid and his team, all young and very efficient indeed. The girls were on champagne and us boys had the Cobra which were great pints. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Food was delicious. Set menu between 2 people and it was the perfect amount! Ordered through the website and collected for a set time, food was still a goods temperature when we got home. Amazing.

Great curry at a very reasonable price. The set menu gives a good variety of dishes. It would be a 5* if it was hand cut Indian style chips. The chicken tikka is the best we've had in Sunderland!

They say you can have too much of a good thing, but after years of visiting this place i’m yet to find that to be true. I often eat out, and after visiting various similar places, in Brick Lane London and Ocean Road South Shields to name a few, I just cannot match the quality and service of Mumbai Silk. Total credit to everyone who works there, this place is fantastic and definitely worth travelling any distance for. I can’t reccomend enough.

Absolutely devastated. Horrible dry over cooked chips. Sent the wrong nan bread. Had to cancel our table for personal reasons so tryed to make a decent night of it by doing it at home. Be staying away all together from now on. Complete let down.

Went to Mumbai Silk today before going to Sunderland Empire. The food was the best Indian I've had in a long time. Beautifully presented and the lamb was just met in the mouth. I'd drive from Whitley Bay just to get a takeaway!

Went for a family meal. 1st time and will definitely be returning. Great service and atmosphere. The food was top notch.

Friendly staff, bright and clean modern decor. I had poppadoms, onion bhajis and a Lamb Balti. I can confidently say that all of it was the tastiest Indian food I've ever had.
