After a brief chat with one of my relatives, my wife and I visited the Metro Mumbai yesterday late afternoon.nIt took a while to decide what to eat as there was so many mouth-watering dishes on offer. I went for the Meen Polichadu grilled fish prepared in a coastal style with fiery spices, wrapped up in banana leaf – starter. I had never had food presented in a banana leaf before so this was quite special. Gorgeously spicy although not overly and tasty, I can definitely recommend this as a starter. For my main, I had Goan Fish Curry Tangy and spicy fresh fish cooked in tamarind infused cream sauce. This was slightly milder than my starter, but nonetheless, really tasty and along with the lovely naan bread, a real treat for the tastebuds!nAs a nice little bonus, we also got 25% off the food due to Mumbai Metro’s Easter offer, so always nice to save a few pounds as well.nWould definitely recommend visiting here to anyone who enjoys the delights of Indian street food!!
Great food, great service, great price! Honestly this place feels so inviting and all the staff are lovely. We've definitely shared some birthday cakes with them! Food is really good and lots of options too
Early dinner for for on 3/1/25. Excellent food and service, and good value. They were well informed about gluten intolerance which was essential for our group. The menu also has plenty of excellent gluten-free options despite there being no info about this on their website. Thank you for a great evening!
Myself and my wife visited this restaurant, we were not disappointed.nIt was nicely furnished and looked quite new inside.nlovely atmosphere, and the staff were very attentive.nWe had the butter chicken and chilli chicken both prepared in really rich creamy sauces. Mr Gurpreet the owner served us what a polite and nice man.nWe are back off to Manchester tomorrow shame its so far away from us, we would be in every week. This restaurant is better value than any of the restaurants in Manchester.nMaybe back to Edinburgh later this year, and will visit again.nHighly recommend.
Sunday night dinner with hubby. The restaurant was very quiet, but it was Sunday evening. Our main courses were butter chicken, biriani and garlic nan. Starters are tapas size, so we ordered 3 to share between us. This is our first visit, but we will definitely be back. I hope plenty locals support this new restaurant
