Warm and welcoming cafe with a nice airside view. Open to the public this is a great place to take a break with a spot of plane spotting.nnStaff and friendly and pleasant and the space is well laid out giving a spacious feel even when slightly busy.nnToilets and other public areas and nice and clean which is a good sign too.
Today, we visited the multi-flight cafe at Leeds Bradford Airport for the first time. We parked our car and enjoyed a captivating view of the airport and runway, witnessing the takeoff and landing of numerous aircraft. After approximately one hour, we decided to dine at the cafe. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly, maintaining a warm and cheerful demeanour throughout our visit.nI ordered a bacon and tomato sandwich, which was delectable and featured an abundance of bacon. All ingredients were of high quality, and the sandwich was freshly prepared by a skilled chef. My wife opted for a panini, which she thoroughly enjoyed. My son indulged in children’s sausage chips and beans, which were both hot and freshly cooked.nThe cafe offered a wide selection of dishes, all of which were served promptly and to our satisfaction. The walls of the cafe were adorned with photographs of aircraft, providing an additional visual attraction.nWhile the staff were exceptional, I would like to mention that parking is charged at £2 per hour. This fee is reasonable considering the exceptional view of the runway. One minor inconvenience to be aware of is that parking payments are made via contactless payment.nOverall, we had a wonderful two-hour stay at the cafe and plan to return frequently for plane spotting.
Very friendly, local atmosphere. Clearly lots of regulars there who go all the time to plane-watch.nOrder at the counter and food is brought to your table. Food really nice, all-day breakfast options and lunch from 11:30am. There were about 10+ tables, only 3 were right next to the windows so if you can't get one of those plane-spotting is best from the outdoor picnic tables.nVisited the disabled/Baby change toilet with my daughters which included a fold-down changing table.nCafe and toilets were both very clean. Family-friendly vibe and there were some highchairs available.nnPlenty of parking £2.50 per hour at the moment – get a ticket from the barrier on entry and then pay at the machine before you exit; card and contactless only. The car park spaces further away from the cafe actually had a better view of the airfield if you'd prefer sitting in your car before or after your cafe visit.
This is such a hidden gem. The food is excellent and good value and the cafe gives a fantastic view of the runway at Leeds Bradford Airport. It’s also a great viewing spot for the private aircraft they use for lessons.nnIt’s a firm favourite of our family including teens! Never disappointed and the staff are so friendly and always serve with a smile! Highly recommend the home made specials too - the curries and soups in particular are well worth visiting for.
Very good food and a good view of the runway have to pay for parking tho
