Very nice burgers, in fact, the best burgers this side of town. I bring my guests here and they always comment on how lovely the burgers are. Good choice of burgers and other items. I gave one star less only because its not a fast food restaurant as you would think about a burger place. Those 10 ounce burgers take quite a while to cook. Must try.
Remarkably poor service. Prices are cheap and the food is generally nice. If service is unimportant to you and you like your food cheap and relatively fresh, check this place out. The lunch time offer 12-4pm is great value, however don't expect any add on to be given. It's a set menu. We were refused even a slice of cheese even though we were willing to pay for it when we ordered from this menu. I wouldn't normally complain as you do get a bargain, however the resistance to even the slightest addition relish, chilli sauce was denied.
Going down hill. Considering your paying for a quality gourmet burger, the service is poor. Kids meal comes with cheap fizzy drinks, the child seat harness is ripped, the foot bar split. The light fittings fused over your table. The owner has really let things slip since opening. I'm going to have to find an alternative to take the family to.
Excellent service and excellent food. Was well looked after here. Came in at closing time yet still allowed to us eat in. Chicken burger was on point. Came me free chips and water as we had travelled a long way. Would definitely recommend and come back here again.
The smoked gourmet burger wasn’t good but that’s not my main problem. I ordered the chilli nachos and was given chilli fries as a substitute as they were out, fair enough.. However I can honestly say that the mixture of chilli and whatever other sauces they FLOODED on there formed a combination of what I can only describe as a vomit-like scent. No I’m not joking, my food honestly smelt like it was served with a side of vomit!!! Ate about 3 holding my breath then chucked the rest away before I puked myself. Also the mozzarella sticks were bland and cold I don’t normally do reviews but in this extraordinary case I felt obliged to. Avoid this place as there are many, many better alternatives
Bought a piri piri burger. While eating found chicken not cooked thoroughly, still raw. Complained to the staff who re-cooked the same eaten chicken and gave me in a new wrapper. But still found to be uncooked. Staff seems to be not aware of food standards and procedures. I threw up on my way home. AVOID them
Dreadful place. As others have said, the staff are rude and cannot even get a simple order correct. The ceiling above our table looked horrendous: stained and paint peeled off. Most limited selection of drinks I’ve ever seen on any menu - either a bottle of water or a can of fizzy drink: that’s it. Don’t order the rice, unless you like it cold!! And why in 2018 are such places cash only ? Tax avoidance???
Took my misses there for the first time we bought nachose with the chilli sauce and cheese on top I bought a lamb gourmet burger next morning I was feeling sick and our burger did not taste anything close to good at all, my wife was so disappointed aswell. Maybe it was just our luck but you have to try to see for yourself.
Decent food, no complaints. Burger was nicely stacked. Brioche buns could have been warmed up as it kept falling apart. Wings were OK too. Would visit again.
