We have always liked this bookshop even though we don't visit it often enough. Its very olde worlde in an enchanting sort of way and you almost expect Mr Dahl to be seated on a sofa somewhere reading aloud. It's got some seriously enchanting gifts and some fab stuff for children and lots of new and secondhand books at very reasonable prices. I did hear some disparaging remarks about Lucy Worseley while I was there so nearly gave three stars, but the owner gave me a free make your own Christmas tree decoration, so forgave them the indiscretion. Visit this place, but leave lots of time as you will not want to leave.
