Great service and a really friendly waitress couldn't totally make up for some disappointing food. I mean, all of the basic ingredients for a good gourmet burger were there, but it flattered to deceive unfortunately. I went for the hickory smoked burger can't remember it's name, but the burger itself, while tasty, fell apart in the avalanche of other ingredients of syrup and bacon. Also things were a bit too salty for me and my family, so while it was tasty to begin with, by the end it was too much. The vibe of the place was good and it served good milkshakes and desserts.
4 of us went, sharing starter, 4 mains, 4 drinks, 1 huge sharing milkshake £78. It was good value. 2 of our group have food allergies. I really appreciate how helpful the staff were especially Josiah. We struggle to eat out sometimes, couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks.
Misleading advertisements..Charging me double then what it shows... would give better rating until I saw this.
Found the seating really hard and uncomfortable but the food was amazing. I had The Something Blue beef burger with their normal chips it was the perfect concoction. Lovely amount of blue cheese used, so happy somewhere uses it on their menu. The fries were super salty which I like but some people may not plus they were soft and crispy at the same time just as they should be.
A very disappointing Afternoon Tea for my 2 Grandchildren at Mu Mu. It was bought out on a pink mini bench which was dirty. A small piece of I presume fudge cake each which was rock hard, strawberry milkshake & the bottles were dirty, a nice mini burger each & chips in a tin cup & then some sweets. Cost of this was £15.95 and very poor value. Had I not been with my Grandchildren I would of complained but I didn’t want to spoil the afternoon, but I won’t ever go back. I do have to say the staff were very friendly and the service was good. Shame about the food.
Not so good since they changed the kids menu. Normally I love this place but they have gone the route of other places, halved the children's portion you now get a mini burger and reduced the amount of sweet potato fries you get. 60 or so for a meal where i am still hungry is less than ideal in my opinion. Will be using the press from now on despite loving mumu- you are just too expensive for what you are serving now. I had a cheaper better meal in Iceland and they charge through the nose ;-
The service here is good but the food here is just so filling. The milkshakes fill you up so don't over order. The milkshakes can come loaded and are presented very well. I visited during the school holidays in the evening so it was quiet, the service was good, alway check online as they do promotions.
Very disappointed, currently sat in mu Mu for my dads birthday, there is 9 of us, every single one of us were utterly disappointed. Burgers come out looking like flat pancakes, nothing to them, chips were black and looked old. My nan ordered a burger and it was cold and point blank refused to eat it sent straight back, paid almost 15 for a flattened burger and chips. We've been before and always been lovely but we will not return, my burger was not worth it all. Small size portions, chips used to be included but are now £3.45 extra. VERY DISAPPOINTED, all the burgers were flat and rank not happy and didn't seem to be bothered, my sister waited for her burger arrived and had loads of things missing sent back fresh one cooked and still came back missing half of what should of been on there,
Awful. So, we were the only people there really, took 20 minutes to even offer a drink. A further 10 minutes to provide the drink, of which 3 of the orders they were "currently out of". Don't order the burgers, they were awful. Pizza were only a little better as at least they looked like they had just been cooked. In short, if there is literally nowhere else open, still I wouldn't recommend.
Visited mu mu Northampton today for the afternoon tea for my sons 7th birthday. Despite being short staffed we received excellent service , all staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough. Food was served quickly and was lovely. When booking table online I received a quick response & there were 2 high chairs waiting on arrival as requested. When dining with babies it’s not always easy but we had a table with plenty of room and was showed where the baby change facilities were also without asking. Will visit again for sure. My son love his birthday lunch :
