I had an appointment @ 9:00 for MOT and interim service £170 i paid on the 9/12/2023.nI called in at 8:59, to advise I'll be 10 minutes late. The person on the phone said i will have to reschedule, i said im close I'll be only 10 minutes late, is that not ok?, he said he'll check, then he said it'll have a knock on effect and i have to be in at that moment 9:04am. I said, im literally almost there and there was a bit of a back and forth which actually slowed me down. Then he hung up on me.nI arrive in the reception at 9:12, knowing im a bit late and I mentioned it. However, they still took my car after mentioning on the phone they wouldn't... and hanging up...nI told them my tyres are almost legal limit and I know about it, but I'll come another time for the tyres.nTheir welcoming and responces were very off putting towards me... Sometimes not even aknoweldging what i was saying....nThen I requested if wheel allignment can be added, they said yes and it will take more time. Then, i was thinking to my self, they literally wanted to cancel my appointment because i was 10 minutes late, but now you can add wheel allignment, what about the knock on effect?nThey told me a price of £79.95 for 4 wheels. Then i called other Mr tyres to double check and they told me £69.95 for 4 wheels and kindly adviced that I shouldn't do the wheel allignment untill i change my tyres.nI phoned Mr tyre northampton back and told them 1st the price I was given is wrong and 2nd they should have stopped me from doing wheel allignment when they know i was going to change my tyres very soon with them.nAdditionaly, they told me interim service is only oil change and nothing else. I checked and it is oil change, oil filter change and 34 points check.nI am a bit in 2 minds if the service was done accordingly and also in 2 minds if to go back there to change my tyres with wheel allignment soon.nAlso my interior was stained with mechanic oil, that shouldnt happen. Pic attached.nBeside that, when i went back to collect the car, they were a bit more customer friendly and he advised me on what tyres will be best for my car when i do change them.nnAdditional comment after Mr tyre reply:nnNothing was said about my arm rest being stained with mechanical oil.nAlso, you mentioned you listened to all calls.nThe response you gave me on the calls you listened to is a bit irrelevant to my complaint.nWhy was the fact that the incorrect price was quoted to me ignored in the response? Also, when i called back to say £79.95 was incorrect, the response was: ok we will do it £69.95. Is that ethically correct?nWhy was this not addressed in your response?nIf the interim service is much more detailed, why wasn't i told that? Can you guarantee the interim service I paid for was done accordingly?
Brilliant customer service. Clean and tidy waiting room with entertainment and refreshments. Couldn’t be happier with the service provided.
Just been to Mr Tyre to sort out losing pressure in both front and rear offside tyres. Turns out that the rear had a puncture and the front was a faulty valve. Both been done to my satisfaction by a lovely young man. Only downside was the wait. Booked in at 10 got started on by 10.30. Still they were very busy.
Great service, and a reasonable price. Repaired two tyres for me after getting a nail stuck in each of them. Would recommend to friends and family.
Same day appointment for tyre change. Best price locally for tyre I wanted & in stock. Easy to book by phone. Quick work. Excellent service all round. Recommend Mr Tyre Northampton.
