Turned up, bouncer said "sorry". There was no reason to not be let in! Went back 10 minutes later, tried again because I was talking to people nearby, and saw loads of people get in. Again, "sorry". So I said "sorry but why won't you let me in". Again a plain "sorry" and staring into thin air, like I wasn't worth talking to like a human being. It was a horrible experience. I am not local and organised a night out with a friend in dundalk but it turned out to be awful.
Bouncers only let the skinny pretty girls not but not the big girls
On Friday 11/03/22 I was a victim of aggression in this bar by the security staff. They never spoke to me or gave a single warning because I wasn't doing anything. They just attack me from my back and almost broke my arm I attached some pictures of my arm. They expelled me without giving any explanation. I'll never go back there, and I don't recommend anyone to go there.
The staff is just shite. Racist security and kids as bartenders. Go to brus instead. James the manager just doesn't know how to do business, all his staff is not professional at all. I saw people get kicked out as animals just cause wearing baseball caps. Disgusting
Staff at the door very inpolite and ignorant. Didn't get in for no reason, when security was asked to give a reason, all they said was "we don't need a reason to refuse entry" which leads me to believe they were being ignorant towards foreign people being racist. Will NOT be back 100%.
Used to be *the* place to go for a drink & dance. Now over priced, upstairs smoking area often closed so less room to move, door staff can refuse you for no reason, sticky carpets, djs play over-remixed songs & don't play full ones, some staff don't serve you when you've been waiting 15mins at the bar.. Miss the old Ridley's. circa 2014
Very well run establishment with excellent doorstaff!!
Poorly run establishment a take on tbh.
Witnessed someone throw a lit cigarette at two young lads holding hands. Kip.
