The very best fish and chips me and the family have tasted . The staff were superb and very friendly. The owner is a lovely person who was very welcoming , pleasant and helpful to all our requests . I would recommend Mr Pias to any one who passes through as it is an oasis in inverarie that needs to visited . The facilities are immaculate and hygiene is not missed anywhere . The pizzas we also had were made from scratch and cooked in a clay oven that gave an exquisite taste , so fresh and tasty . Will definitely be coming back with my family next time passing through. 👍👍👍👍

26 August, 2017 - now managed to find the photos of the fish and chips bought from Mr. Pia's Fish and Chips in Inverary. - The management would benefit if they focused on two important things, first, increase the quality of their food and second, train their staff on how to handle complaints. We were a group of eight people who happened to stop by in this fish and chips store and because they were in a prime location (nothing much to check for a short period of 45 minutes tour), we really don't have much choice, this restaurant benefit for its' prime location, otherwise, there will be a problem on how to survive the business for the quality of food they sell (meaning: fish and chips standard). We spent around £45 plus for an over salted fish and chips, six fish chips total, four went into the BIN, it doesn't justify the expensive £6.50 for a food that is NOT EDIBLE and a soggy chips because the vinegar was too much. It doesn't mean that when we were asked if we want salt and vinegar, we allow them to put TOO MUCH salt and vinegar and they could justify it as if we gave them AUTHORITY to ruin the food. There should be a balance of how much salt and vinegar you put (meaning: common sense). I left a review on Tripadvisor and was accused by the owner that i threatened them of a bad review, I DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO ARGUE because we have a coach to catch, the coach was parked within the castle vicinity. They replied in their review that i was arrogant, it was a reaction when you're hungry and you had a big bite and the salt was overwhelming! Do they realized the volume of salt inside my mouth, it was AWFUL! The youngman told me that "You are in Scotland, we spread salt here", the other guy seconded that "we have many international clients like Germans", i requested them to have a taste of the fish so they would know my predicament, If they felt unhappy because there were other clients when i told them about the food, it was not an act of rudeness, do i need to whisper to tell them "there's too much salt to the point it's not edible anymore". I was told that they will replaced the fish and that was not until i became persistent to let them taste the fish because we are getting nowhere and we were running out of time. I went to the area wherein i could see the chef inside and the youngman made fun of me because when he asked for the next client about the salt, he was making fun of the situation. He thought i was outside so he really enjoyed himself humiliating me. Replacing the fish doesn't mean that you have a good understanding of customer service, you did not even pacify the youngman to stop joking about the salt, THAT MADE the difference, your clients doesn't need humiliation, YOU MADE FUN OF YOUR CLIENT? The behaviour of your staff doesn't reflect the 'HIGHLY TRAINED CUSTOMER SERVICE" you replied on the Tripadvisor review. At the end of the day, you sell a very expensive, over salted fish that it became NOT EDIBLE at all, to be honest, money is not an issue here, it was the attitude of your staff because he thought I was not around when he decided to make fun of me, just before i left, i mentioned about leaving a review instead because you don't have the time to LISTEN and we were running out of time. Look what you got, upset and unhappy clients. You probably thought that i won't come back and share our experience, I won't call you anymore because there was no indication that you will listen to your clients. In the end, the lack of respect by making fun of your clients changed my mind to call you, I was actually planning to discuss on how you could improve your business so that you would get more happy and satisfied clients. Rule of thumb: Respect your clients, they give you business, do not make fun of them and improve the quality of your food. Seriously.
