Terrible service, waitress was yelling at servers while she herself wasn’t doing her job. Just okay food. Place had a distinct bathroom odor. Also they charge more on your CC than what’s on your bill. Do not recommend!Food: 2/5
Good pizza and excellent Italian dishes. Good prices on specials during the week. Has both gluten free pizza and gluten free pasta that actually tastes great. Friendly and attentive staff. Easy parking out front or plenty of parking in the back.
The vodka penne was okay, no taste at all. Will not be ordering that dish again. Oh, my friend ordered this dish for me. Once the grub hub guy came to my door he told me that I had to pay.. the whole time he got a payment already from my friend. Be careful of them delivery drivers! Steups. Next time I will leave the kiss mi as* food right there.
Horrendous customer service. I spent over $50 for a salad and a pizza and a side of spaghetti for my kid. I asked for salad dressing on the side and parmesan on side for spaghetti. No dressing. No parmesan. My kid refused to eat the pasta and well who eats a salad with no dressing. Called the restaurant and they said sorry, we can't bring your dressing. I asked if I'm expected to eat a plain salad after spending $18 on this salad plus close to $10 in delivery fees, service fee and that's not including the tip. They still said ummm sorry. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. It was like speaking to a teenager. Ummm sorry. This is ridiculous. I spent over $50 and couldn't even enjoy my dinner with my kids. No salad dressing for my $18 salad. What kind of restaurant is this??? Update: The "manager" said he would try to get a driver to bring my salad dressing. They never showed up.
I have been a supporter of this business since I moved to CT a little over 3 years ago. Out of convenience I order through the Delivery . com app which I do not recommend at all using if you plan to order from this merchant. It has gotten to the point to where I started taking notes on my orders with Luigi and around 8 or 9 out of 10 orders were unsatisfactory. Main issue has been they don't prepare your food. I always have to call and ask about the order which is when they will prepare it or stay the driver just left even though at that point its already an hour late. The other times I will have missing items or a quantity less than ordered with the items. Sadly I will no longer order from this merchant even though I do enjoy the items that I do order from them. This review is 100% based orders through the deliver .com app.
Absolutely awesome pizza. NYC size and taste without being in NYC. 2 people and we ate it all. Definitely would buy again
I am a frequent diner and I’ve never been disappointed! Gina and Gloria always take good care of me. Dietary restrictions: I have a shellfish allergy and they’ve always accommodated.
Food was good. Ordered a side salad and a small pizza. Service was great, everyone was attentive.
I ordered via Uber Eats. It took an hour to get the food, and it was the wrong order with my name written on the bag— it wasn't the courier's error. This was a bad end to a pretty bad day. Delivery is pretty expensive these days and not being sure I'm going to get what I ordered puts me off from going to the same restaurant again. I will not return to Luigi's.
As much as I’d love to write a positive review praising a family owned business, I can not. I had to wait nearly an hour to pick up two pies and a salad. Despite paying for extra feta cheese, I paid $14 for a plate of lettuce. To begin with, the pies were lukewarm as I put them in the car. Both pizzas were lacking flavor and tasted bland. To top it off, part of my pizza crust got stuck to the box. If I’m paying 20$ for a pie, I am expecting a level of quality that I simply haven’t received. I don’t foresee getting food here again in the near future. I hope this review doesn’t go unnoticed by management as I’d love to be able to recommend this place to others, as I once did.
