Lovely venue , great service and fantastic food !! The waiter recommended a main course as I was stuck for choice and he wasn’t wrong !!! Lunch time menu is great value for money and very filling !! Parking: Golden square car park is the best place to park Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have a lift to make accessibility easier
We booked in advance to ensure a table as it’s really popular. Service was so quick and the staff were really accommodating and lovely, can’t praise them enough. Food was incredible, I’ve never had a bad meal there - the beef and pork belly were cooked to perfection, and the wonton soup was served piping hot. Amazing place, wonderful staff and beautiful food!
Chinese is my favourite food and Mr Lau's is my favourite Chinese restaurant. The food is so good I can't stop eating even when I know I'm full. Staff are always attentive and polite. We had messed up our booking but the concierge was very understanding and managed to squeeze us in despite the restaurant being very busy. I love the vibe in here, deep house beats with spacious vocals gently pumping away in the background ever so subtly increasing in volume as the evening progresses. Not cheap, typically around £50 per person for two courses and drinks but always the perfect treat! Parking: Very limited on street parking at the restaurant like about 4 spaces. Paid carpark about a 3 minute walk is always available.
Came here for a family meal. Could have got the same quality of food at a local takeaway for a fraction of the price. Atmosphere was good in the place and the staff was friendly enough. The toilets were not clean, and the bins were overflowing with paper towels in the mens toilets. The food is a little overpriced for what it is, in my opinion. However, I think if you're in town and on a night out and fancy a meal beforehand and don't mind spending, this is the place for you. Good location.
The Christmas lunch banquet was lovely! Great portion sizes for the prices, we almost couldn’t finish because we were so full : Delish food for such a great price. Great service and atmosphereFood: 5/5
Great Restaurant doesn't look much from outside but wowed when inside! Delicious food, chilli beef is brilliant!!! Friendly service !Food: 5/5
I visited this place for food with family on a Saturday Evening and it was extremely poor. The food was very poor quality and did not taste the best . I sent my main back and swapped it which unfortunately was no better. The restaurant and bar was very quiet with no atmosphere. In summary I'm not sure if this has changed ownership as it is the first time in a few years I have visited and will definitely not be back. Unfortunately in my opinion there are now many nicer places to eat in Warrington especially with the prices being expensive here.
Well what can I say absolutely fantastic so Amazing!!!! food was absolutely delicious I can't even describe how it melted in my mouth I did not want it to end.... drinks were great service was perfect staff were so lovely and never stopped it really was spot on. Went for my birthday it was perfect the ambiance of the place was romantic we were in a corner huddled away it really was amazing. Definitely would recommend
We've been meaning to try it this place for a while and it didn't disappoint. The food here is so good and tastes quite authentic South Chinese I lived in Hong Kong for a while so hopefully I should know. Service is attentive and welcoming with an upscale atmosphere. The range of dishes is good and although on the expensive side, the taste to cost ratio means it's good value.
Awesome food, excellent service and good value for money.Food: 5/5
