Tasted OK. Woman at the counter was OK, not overly nice but not rude either. Price was slightly higher than my local chippy but not all that much higher. The wait time was a long long time for what it was. I probably wouldn't wait again, all I got was chips and it took almost 20 minutes, most other chippies give you it almost instantly as it's such a small order.
Just had a fish supper with peas, and could not fault any of it. Good quality, large portion and good value. Only needed one supper between two of us. Cooked when ordered, short wait, so was freshly made. Friendly staff. Would recommend . Hate to see bad/negative reviews, so just posting a positive one
Staff really friendly... but .. the food was not good .. the fish was burnt and crispy ...only blessing was i had ordered a portion of chips with it .... Maybe it was one of those days ... But. I'll not be back
After a patient wait of 15-20 minute, got two fish suppers. Upon opening to eat, one fish was burnt to a crisp and inedible. Other fish was partially burnt. One fish went straight into a bin. I really don't know how anyone can possibly have the cheek to serve that to anybody in that state? Do the staff know how long to cook fish before it becomes overcooked? Needless to say, I won't be going back here.
Need to wait around 10 minutes after ordering the food and it’s worthy! Chips are very crispy and delicious, also love the juicy chicken nuggets!
Chips were okay. Nothing more than that though. 20mins waiting,and wasnt waiting in a que. Orderd chips and curry sauce, expecting a medium chips and a pot of curry sauce. Instead I got curry and mashed potato. On what looked like a kids portion all for the value price of 4.50 Restaurant looks like it's run by teenagers who don't care.
Came on a Friday afternoon at the end of September and had just one fish supper. It was everything you would expect and want from a fish and chips takeaway- so for me it was much better than the others who posted negative reviews.
We always get a Mr chips when we are in Portrush, always very tasty and good value too. It does take a little while but it's all made fresh so I don't mind so much.
Absolutely shocking service from young Dark haired lady. Was ignorant from the beginning and didn't think I was a genuine customer so was contimplating taking my order. I then asked for red sauce on my burger and received a sarcastic remark. To top it all off received my burger wrapped in tin foil...Once a Good Chippy rapidly going down hill in terms of service and quality of the food.-16/02/20 @8.15PM
Not a great experience this time round. Delivery took over 2 hours really was so disappointed food was cold by the time it arrived
