I'm a serious FOODIE..... Look at my previous reviews.  I was greeted by friendly, polite and helpful staff.  My order was packaged in environmentaly  friendly, recyclable materials, nice touch.  Vermicelli Singapore noodles - lovely balance of flavours and seasoning, fine noodles with chicken, onion, prawns, char-siu pork, egg, peppers capsicum tasty, not too greasy but did have a slight chalky texture.  Hot Chilli Chicken and Sezuan Chicken-  unable to determine between the two unfortunately. The sauce / gravy tasting the same;  -  one had chicken, a couple of mange tout, onions, scallions of carrot and a couple of oyster mushroom slices.  - the other chicken, green pepper slices, onions, carrot matchsticks.  Both mildly spicy but salty, msg? Or other flavour enhancers?  Fairly good but.... Not the cheapest prices and the food quality doesn't justify or reflect the quality.

Took my daughter here for a meal this evening. Food was excellent and great value too. A wide choice on the menu, my daughter had the salt and pepper chicken which was great and had a real kick. Attentive and swift service. Will definitely returnFood: 5/5

I've been to Mr Chans twice in the last 3 months, and I've never been disappointed. The staff are great, the food is amazing and the service is second to none. Whilst there, the owner introduced himself to us and all his other customers. I thought this was a nice touch. Would 100% recommend this restaurantFood: 5/5

We walked in at exactly 5pm, Mr Chan literally popped up from behind the counter, which made us chuckle.  All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Food was lovely. Everywhere was clean and tidy.  Parking: Not ideal but after 6pm the parking near nearby carparks is free.

Best chinese and restaurant in St Helens bar non! The gluten free options are by far the best from any option in any restaurant ive ever been in! Charlie and he's team are so accommodating, friendly and will always return and spread word of mouth for others to experience this place

An exceptional meal at a reasonable price, with an excellent atmosphere. No surprise, we have had countless good experiences of Mr Chans, and intent on having many more.Food: 5/5

First time tonight . We needed a gluten free menu . Omg it was absolutely amazing   10/10 plus the service was 10/10 could not fault it at all

Fantastic gluten free options. Great selection of whiskey too, I have a little tipple when I pick my takeaway up. The staff are so nice and friendly, such a great restaurant. Diamond in St. Helens.

For well over thirty years, Mr Chans is and continues to be the best Chinese restaurant in St Helens.  First class service too.

This place never changes. It always wonderful service with such friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. The food is constantly amazing. I'll never stop going here.Food: 5/5
