OK. So I've been recommended to call Mr Central Heating by my friend who is a plumber. And after seeing there reviews on google, I was dubious about what was being said by other reviewers. I believe in giving businesses a second chance. But to be honest I think I know why! Ive tried to call 3 times on 19th December, only for the phone to ring, then gets answered but put down again. Not very good customer service. At least answer, take my details & get someone to call back. Last week so a week ago I filled in there online form for same reason to get someone to call me. Or at the least respond to my message, they never... So I'm going elsewhere with my money & business as needed a electric pump, new hot water immersion heater, pipes, and thermostat. But they have lost a customer now potentially. If things change from thrm to me as I rang again and the phones been taken off the hook as engaged for me right now, then I may later change my mind here on my review.
We called twice before driving to pick up the radiator. After made the payment, they said they don't have it. Didn't even bother to apologise even once for wasting time, commute and fuel. Very bad customer service.
Needed a boiler the next day that all the big national chains were saying would take a few days to get in. These guys had it in stock at their warehouse in Erith and it was very competitively priced. They recommended all the extras to ensure I wouldn't have to come back and helped me load it into the car too. My builder swears by them and I can see why. If I ever need to buy any heating supplies again, this is we're I'll go.
Absolutely rude and non sense staff. The shop was stinky with weed smell, you can’t even stand up there for one minute. Staff is not helpful which make sense because if they taking drugs at work what would you expect from them. Definitely not recommending anyone. Please avoid
Horrible experience! First of all, one of the guys that work hard is incredibly rude. I called at 7am during the lockdown period to ask if they're open and he rudely responded "I've picked up the phone so obviously we're open". No it's not obvious! If that had some basic knowledge, they'd know that businesses often have staff come in an hour earlier to set up the store etc. Secondly, they refused to accept return of my boiler, which was never used as my builder also bought one and we doubled up the purchase by mistake. They were gonna ask me for 10% charge to restock the boiler, which is ridiculous! I even offered to put it back myself but they weren't having it. Thankfully, there's another branch in Webley who happily accepted the return. Was a pain driving all the way up there but still better than losing £170 restocking fees. Wouldn't recommend due to the bad experience. Would rather make the trip to their or branch which actually has nice people working there.
Stunning shop providing excellent service. Prices are very competitive and staff very knowledgeable as they always help you to make sure you buy the correct items or ask if you’ve missed anything out to carry out your work; saves you running back and forth buying bits. Prime example of an old school shop that was a pleasure shopping in 10 years ago and am sure it will still be the case in another 10 years. Keep up the good work.
A first class company who are always extremely knowledgeable, helpful and go out of their way to ensure they are selling you the right product. Great aftercare too.
Good service, ordered and collected a new boiler very quickly and the staff were helpful.
