Lovely overnight stay. Room and hotel was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were the nicest, friendliest and most helpful that I have ever met. 30 mins walk from the train station downhill. I arrived late so did not have a pint and food at the bar. I will next time. Definitely would recommend.Rooms: 5/5
We called in for a coffee and enjoyed a very relaxing stop. We have eaten lunch/dinner here on a number of occasions and always please with food. Great selection for my coeliac partner. Staff very friendly with prompt service. Very quiet due to location some way off A1 and on outskirts of Newry but worth a detour rather than the other over busy eateries around Newry
Stayed for 5 nights, the rooms were well equipped, very clean and regularly serviced. The breakfast menu had an excellent choice and catered to everyone’s taste, looked forward to it every day. We had the lunch menu, evening meal and the Sunday menu, the choices were great and ourselves, family and friends were well impressed for choice, taste and value, the staff were friendly but in particular the night porter couldn’t do enough for us. Paddy McLoughlin, accommodated us to a high standard and a big thank you to him, Look forward to a return visit Aidan and Susan
Room was very warm - didn't have the most comfortable night's sleep. Service, particularly the night porter & breakfast staff was fantastic. Breakfast was tasty. Late arrival and relatively early check out so didn't see much else. Rooms: The rooms at the far end of the ground floor could do with bathroom's upgrading to the same quality as those closer to reception. Nearby activities: Very handy for activities near the border such as exploring in and around Carlingford Lough. Noteworthy details: Note to the business - continue to look after your staff, they are your greatest asset!
Our first time staying here and definitely our last. From the outside it doesn’t look much but spotlessly clean inside. Very unfriendly staff and the rooms are just ok. On a plus note the bar menu looked very nice and what we ordered was lovely
Spotless clean it even smelled clean, lovely staff, food was lovely and very well portioned, loads of parking. Vending machine with paracetamol was a lovely touch will 100% be back Rooms: Everything you'd want, spotless and an amazing shower
I was visiting for work. The hotel team were all lovely and friendly. Rooms were clean, comfortable and cosy. There were limited veggie options but what they did have was really tasty. Will stay there again.Rooms: 5/5
Nice hotel friendly staff food very good breakfast good everything about the hotel is good only a little far out of town Food & drinks: Food and drinks very good and not expensive
We had a family Sunday lunch today. The food was spectacular and the service excellent. I would highly recommend Service: 5/5
Great place with great staff. Had my Christmas lunch here with the charity I'm part of. Food was out of this world delicious. Food & drinks: Food was delicious and the shandy I had in the bar was great
