Great garden, easy to access and go around, even with a buggy ! The gardens are extremely well maintained with loads of benches to sit down and relax. It took us with a buggy 1h30 to do the recommended trail, including a break of 15min. Totally worth it :, especial if combined with a delicious meal at the restaurant in the village.
No wonder why this place was rated as the number 1 garden in Ireland. It is a beautiful place with a variety of plants, flowers, and trees. There is also a small river inside the place. We loved our walk here. You can easily spend hours here. The fee for an adult is 9 EUR which I think is a lot, maybe 5 EUR is a valid option? I recommend this place.
We spent about four hours here including having breakfast in the sun following the recommended route, crossing the various bridges and stopping at most points on the map. On site there are some great little shops and a garden centre also. Perfect day out for all ages.
One of the most beautiful places to visit in Ireland with astonishing nature all around you. You can start your visit by having breakfast in the nearby cafe. And if you are a family with a buggy, the garden has an accessible route.
One of my favourite Avocas, as nothing can bit the view from their back window. It's busy and kind of everything in a one place but it has such a nice outdoor sitting area and it's located in a courtyard which is enclosed by several shops and garden centre. This place is like a jewel from a better times. In a corner of a courtyard there's an entrance to a secret garden. So lavishly rich and magical. Even though the car park was full we managed to wander around without seeing many people. We love this place!
Mount Usher Gardens whisks you away to a time before technology. A beautiful place for a walk or taking time out to read. The gardens have a list of landmarks that give you brief insights into the flora and also serve as route markers. Entry to the gardens is ticketed and there's a really nice café right before you enter the gardens that have delicious sandwiches.
What a wonderful garden to visit, we spent about 2 hours walking around admirijg the many exotic specimens of trees and then stopped for an hour of lunch before heading back into the gardens for another hour. Admission was very reasonable at €9 per adult and allowed us to come and go from the gardens. Highly recommend visiting is you love tree bathing.
Really enjoyed the place, it's well maintained and trail is quite refreshing. There are so many different varieties of trees here, you'd be amazed to see all of them. If you're a tree lover, this place should be on your list.
Beautiful and peaceful gardens. Such a pity the coffee closes too early in summer. We wanted a coffee after the walk at 16:45 and they were already closing down. Ticket could be a bit less pricey too.
Easily one of my favourite gardens in Ireland. On a warm summerday in July you can wander through this large romantic garden, where everything is blooming, and there‘s a lot to explore. Had a wonderful day and will definitely come back.
