Mount Ephraim Gardens is a beautiful garden. It has a charming tea room to take refreshments after your garden visit. Mount Ephraim Country House & Gardens is a privately-owned family home in the heart of Kent, comprising over 800 acres of woodland, pasture, and a fruit farm. The Gardens and Tea Room will reopen on 1st April 2023 on Wednesdays to Sundays, and Bank Holidays, 11 am to 5 pm, until 30 September. The last entry into the Gardens on all opening days is 4 pm. They are not open on Mondays and Tuesdays.
This is a fabulous place to visit. Easily found just off the M2 motorway. Easy parking. A very modest entrance fee gains you entry into a beautiful and magical place. The full tour took us about 3 hours. The Millennium Rose Garden was my personal favourite. There's just so much to see. Great place to bring kids. It's also dog-friendly dogs on leads. Tea room selling drinks and snacks great cappuccino btw. Plenty of places in the extensive grounds to have a picnic if you prefer. Toilets have modern fittings and everything worked. The staff we encountered at the ticket booth and at the tea room were all friendly. The gardens also hosts additional events throughout the open season so check the website for more info. Honestly, this is a real hidden gem in the Kent countryside. If you're in the area, do give it a visit, it's brill.
Such a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place with stunning, well maintained gardens, fountains, the lake and bridges. Different walking routes to choose from. Very good for photography and wedding venues and picnics. Big area for kids to explore. Great selection of cakes, sandwiches snacks and drinks at the cafe. Disabled parking spaces available. No matter how long you are going to spend there, you will want to come back again. We have really enjoyed our visit to this little gem!
Loved it! Beautiful place with lots to see. It's £7pp, which is worth to pay. Place looked after, has toilets and restaurant. Walking through the woods, maze or rose garden. Lady at the entrence was so informative and kind. Had some delicious cherries to sell too! Overall you can spend couple of hours walking and exploring and it is well worth a visit!
We absolutely love it here !! Gorgeous place for a walk. Lovely cafe offering tasty food and drinks. Various different events during the period it's open. We loved coming and seeing the sheep here and doing various hunts around the grounds.
Lovely place for walk, rest, enjoy nature. You can have cup of coffee or stay here night. B&B Manor has long history and it is beautiful place to have big venue Dog-friendliness: I met few people with dogs
Beautiful location, fantastic selection of food and drink both hot and cold. Massive shout out to all the staff who work tirelessly in the extreme heat to both run this place day to day and also put up great events, especially the girls working the hot food hut who despite this were very friendly and approachable. Interesting self tour of the orchards gives fascinating insight to the history and current practises of fruit markets and production. Wasn't able to use a voucher we had for the venue due to the event day which we weren't advised about in advance however I don't think venue to blame for this as was gifted via a 3rs party and am happy to give them more funding to keep it running anyway. Plus gives an excuse to come back anyway which we definitely will do, though probably not on a day when it's a million degrees out! Also thanks for the amazing cherry fruit punnits which will be enjoyed over the coming days.
We got married here so is a special place for us. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. Ideal place for a lovely walk, a picnic or a spot of lunch at the house.
This is a real gem of a place to visit. Beautiful grounds to roam around and then grab lunch / tea or coffee at their tea room. I'll definitely be coming back here
We did not come to see the Gardens, but for A New Day Festival. It was a beautiful event space, with lots of kind staff to help us find our way! Dog-friendliness: Many folk brought dogs
