Our dealership at Pen Mill Yeovil has been servicing the local market for over 20 years and in 2008 the site was expanded considerably to enable us to increase our used car display to 100 used vehicles of all makes and models to fit all budgets. David Thompson and his team are now open to handle all your needs for sales and servicing in Bridport Dorset at the former Southgate Mitsubishi site. Had an engine management light on in my 5 month old Mitsubishi, on my initial visit I was told I would have to come back in a week, or call Mitsubishi assist. Mitsubishi assist told me I needed to go to the dealer. I spoke to Mitsubishi customer service who arranged for me to go to Motorwell first thing the following morning. When I arrived the second time Robyn was very polite, offered me a coffee and swiftly got my car into the workshop. The mechanic then came and fully explained the fault to me and assured me it wasn't a problem and that I should drive home and get it booked in with a local dealer.
Do not go here. Terrible customer service. The list in endless as to why to avoid this garage. An ongoing issue with the customer service team has now just been ignored and still waiting for a reply. The cars are not cleaned before selling and not checked over as a warning light had clearly been disguised when bought and not noticed until driving back to Manchester. Their reply was we shouldn't have bought a car from them so far away. This is appalling considering the amount we spent for our Audi Q5. I would recommend a team day out to a customer service workshop for your whole team.
Don't know if I can give zero stars but would if I could. I phoned to get a test drive but when I got there they wouldn't let it out of the showroom unless I had agreed a price and had decided it was the car I wanted. This was not the arrangement agreed so my time was completely wasted. Salesman walked to car tapping on his phone, no conversation and I had to wring a handshake out of him when I introduced myself. Never come across such terrible customer service. Would not touch them with the proverbial bargepole.
My Partner and I were intending on buying a black BMW 3 series with cream leather interior. We paid a deposit after taking it for a test drive to collect it a week later. We turned to to collect the car, it had not been cleaned and valeted as promised. Looking over the outside of the car my partner noticed that the front bumper was a different colour black to the rest of the car. We hadn't noticed this difference during our previous visits. My partner phoned and spoke to the person who sold us the car and the manager of the dealership who both had different stories of what each other said. They wouldn't refund our deposit. The car didn't match the description they had of it on the internet. Or something had happened to the car during that week and Motorwell poorly painted the bumper and lied to cover up the accident. It is still on the forecourt and internet for sale!!!
excellent choice of used cars and presented in a showroom as well. It was like buying a brand new car but mine was three years old. We looked at three others on forecourts in the area, dirty and scratched and one didn't even start. This is place is in a different league to the competition. When we picked it up it was raining and windy but the handover took place inside the showroom, unrushed and very thorough. Can't say enough good things. Thank you.
Recently our Mitsubishi ASX went into Motorwell Bridport for its first MOT & final 'free' service.I had asked for the wheels to be removed as i could not do so with a large wheel removing spanner.In the event of a puncture we could have been stranded.The wheels were removed but replaced without copper,or any other,grease. It was mentioned to the garage that the vehicle had a tendency to stall in neutral,this problem was not addressed and no mention was made of it when the car was picked up.It still has a tendency to stall.. Motowell staff in Bridport appear to be an unhappy lot,in particular the receptionists,who could'ant raise a smile if they tried. All in all i would say that Motowell Bridport appear slightly worse than the average franchised garage.Only interested in selling new cars.Service is down to a price,not up to a standard.Really not impressed.There is certainly plenty of room for improvement .
Absolutely appalling service. You are supposed to get a years breakdown cover when you service your Fiat with them. My girlfriend was stuck at the side of the road for 3 hours when her clutch went because Motorwell forgot to apply the breakdown. She now has a new car and guess what......forgot to apply the breakdown on that as well.
Very friendly helpful and cheerful staff. Car needed an oil top up when on holiday in west bay. Even though they were really busy they took time to sort me out with the correct oil. Didn't have to wait long to be on the road again. Definitely a good place. Thanks, Guys!
Wow... Above and beyond the call of duty! Sue in the Service centre made sure by hook and by crook that my car was fixed, tested and re-MOT'd all in time for me to pick it and collect my wife later that evening from Dorchester. The invoice was no shocker and I will definitely be using their services again... Ho - I did have to wait a bit to collect - It was being valeted! Flippin' Perfect! :D 5 Star Service... Well done you chaps.
Very happy with this place. Found our dream car here, had the choice of two, they were both like new and £3000 cheaper than similar dealers like the showroom in dorchester.
