Fabulous chilly winters day at Goodwood race circuit.....so quintessentially British.....
I flew in for the first time yesterday and found a magnificent collection of aircraft in use. We found the airfield welcoming and professional, very well kept and good value. A wander around the racing circuit was a real treat and we will be back again as soon as we can!
One of the greatest places in Britain. Lucky enough to live within walking distance, grateful to hear the sounds of the Spitfire and Helicopters and the motorcars.
I visit the circuit quite often to see what is going on. Sadly the Control Tower Cafe has shut down which was a good focal point. There is an airfield in the centre of the track too. It's a beautifully restored old race circuit where they organise the Goodwood Revival. Always worth a visit.
Just did my first 5k run there. The staff were all lovely and supportive. Would definitely run there again.
Went to the Drive In at Goodwood last night. Really really good evening. There was some really good entertainment before the film which consisted of car bingo, fastest finger first and other activities which were really good. Sound was excellent and the screen was clearly visible. We saw Rush which was great.
A quick visit before the revival weekend. Great track and welcoming staff
Went to the 80's breakfast club meet FOR FREE! Some amazing cars to see! It's really great to see these old cars being so well looked after! A really friendly atmosphere, a great vibe and plenty of great food stands for breakfast! Can't wait for the next meet!
