Lovely looking store inside and very easy to find what you need. The sales are always fantastic value. The best shop for buying a car seat. Lee was a very informative staff member who helped me choose the right car seat and when I picked it up after delivery, he fitted it into my car for me. Lee helped me understand how my baby should be properly harnessed in the seat and what I should look out for. I will definitely make this Mothercare first on my list next time I need something for my baby.
It’s good for the size of the store, love the baby clothes on offer. My only couple of bad experiences from this place would be 1, staff don’t know information about some of the higher end valued products and 2, I wanted a travel cot that was on display but they didn’t have any in stock, was reassured they would email me when it was back in which I never received. As a side note the offers around the till area is a bit grubby and seems like they’re trying to push old and damaged stock too much. Edit- Updated the till area and it’s looking loads better
Very friendly staff in Derby Chaddesden store. Lynne was really nice and helpful. She helped us with everything and sort out our purchase via online really quick. Smooth transaction. I would recommend this store strongly. Thank You
Went to their expectant parent event today and came out with loads of stuff we wanted at 10% off. It was a really good event with lots of speakers and information we wouldn’t have found out otherwise, definitely worth going. We were assisted by James who helped us with everything from pushchairs to cots and had great product knowledge. He also was checking in the back and got everything ordered for us, was nice to have the help as needing so much stuff for a baby can get so confusing, thank you!
Had a personal shopping experience with Lee today and we've dealt with him on a number of occasions, always friendly, always helpful and knows his stuff due to his training and his own personal experiences. He was very organised and took us section by section through the store. Always been happy with our experience here and the deals they have.
I recently visited Mothercare Derby after developing an issue with my car seat base. Ashleigh the lady who served me was an absolute star! She couldn't do enough for me and I could see that she was trying to resolve my issue quickly and thoroughly as I had a very grumpy baby with me! She checked my existing base and even ordered a new replacement to arrive in store the next day. As the base has changed slightly since I got mine both she and Lisa who was also really helpful and friendly double checked the fit and were really knowledgeable about the product. They really made me feel at ease. I cant recommend these guys enough and I won't hesitate to go back to Mothercare Derby or to recommend them in the future. Excellent customer service....a real credit to the Mothercare Team!!!
We came into the shop knowing absolutely nothing about what we wanted or liked. Utter clueless. We started speaking with a lovely young lady named Sarah. She walked us through all the the prams we liked the look of. Helped and fitted baby carriers as me and my partner both do alot of dog walking we wanted to check out the baby carriers. Nothing was too much for Sarah. She knew all the products inside and out. Told us about up coming events. Left the store very happy and with a reasonable idea of what we wanted. Will be returning in near future to purchase. 5 out of 5. Would give more stars if I could. Thank you!
Had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Sarah in store today. She was incredibly informative and nothing was too much to ask! She really listened to what we were after and was able to match products to our exact needs, even opening a box to a baby carrier to show us how it worked. We had even stated before hand that we were just browsing today and didn’t intend to make a purchase so she wasn’t doing all this just to “make a sale”. She genuinely cared about what we wanted and we will 100% be back to make our purchases in the very near future. We looked at pushchairs, car seats, isofix and baby carriers and she had extensive knowledge across all areas so we had a real personalised shopping experience today, only dealing with one person from start to finish. I can’t thank Sarah enough, something that had been stressing me out previously is no longer worrying me as I feel I have all the information to go forward! She is a credit to that store and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves! Thank you!
Excellent friendly staff, really good, still easy to get to regardless of the roadworks, well worth the effort. Great products and prices, pram price was easily comparable with web prices, don't just buy online. we need shops too.
We visited mothercare tonight and were lucky enough to have the help of Sherrie who answered all our questions and helped us with a range of products. Her knowledge was fantastic and she never made us feel like “novices”. It made our whole experience very enjoyable, can’t recommend Sherrie and Mothercare highly enough
