Went today with my other half, Stephen and were promptly greeted by Maureen who made us aware of the Expectant Parent Event. She ‘booked me in’ and told me of the available discount if I purchased in store. She helped me purchase a bedside crib, bottles and steriliser and a baby monitor, I made a saving of around £50 so was very happy that she was there to tell me about this. Maureen actually took us to some chairs and offered us a drink and snacks whilst I gave her my details for home delivery. She was very friendly and helpful and informative. The store itself is lovely and clean and spacious and very busy, but there’s plenty of staff there to assist you if needed. I love being able to have a ‘play’ with different items and see how things work. Was a very enjoyable visit.
We went to the baby event and the staff were extremely helpful, especially Sue F. She was really knowledgable about the products and easily got things ordered that were not in store. She made our visit a very easy experience. Other staff were just as helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. We are first time grandparents so needed to be steered in the right direction
Me and my husband visited Mother Care in the Gateshead store yesterday, for the second time in the past month for the expectant parent event. The event was well worth the visit, great demos and advice, any expectant parent should take the opportunity to go. We spoke to various members of staff, who were all so helpful and made us feel at ease and gave us great advice to help us make our decisions. Deb was particularly helpful and knowledgeable and Sue was very patient and helpful when we were trying to decide on the baby's furniture, which we did end up buying at the event for a great price. Maureen helped us make the purchase and again was a lovely member of staff. The first time we attended Mother Care which was about 4 weeks ago, we were assisted by a store specialist called Glen. Glen was amazing, very patient, knowledgeable and i think we were with her for about an hour, where she helped us pick out our pram. She demonstrated how the Mother Care Journey pram/buggy and car seat worked a few times and my husband by the end was an expert. We were passed over to Caytlin while Glen took a well earned rest, who again was lovely and very knowledgeable. She even took the time to give us another demo of the Mother Care Journey. I would continue to visit this store anytime i needed items and advice as all the staff and we spoke to a lot more than the staff mentioned above were very friendly, knowledgeable and are a real credit to the company.
Served by Tracy. Couldn't get a nicer, more helpful member of staff. She was amazing! Went through all the pushchairs with me, even after her shift finished. She was extremely patient with me as I was being indecisive. Ended up purchasing the most perfect pushchair for my family needs. It was the only one my baby was happy to sit it.
Went today to get a pushchair for our 11m old to replace the wonderful but too worn for rocky paths one. Kim was extremely helpful and displayed great product knowledge...steering us towards something that was perfect! Great Stuff
Went to mothercare to look at some of the major things we needed - we ended up talking to Kim in store and she stayed with us the whole day, she was so informative on all the products and nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed the whole experience and how easy she made it for us to make the right decision for us, there was no pressure. Would highly recommend asking for Kim especially if you don’t know where start with baby buying!
Couldn't have asked for more pleasant & attentive staff. We've been in a few times looking at prams before purchasing today & each time the staff have been fantastic. We've had help from several staff including Kim who helped us today as well as on another occasion. Super staff & items Been back again today to purchase some other items with the help of Brian & Emma who were both fantastic
Brilliant service by Kim today helping us get a new baby car seat. Very friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole process a lot less stressful than normal car seat shopping! Even got some excellent advice on extended rear facing options for my other child, which is rare in other shops. Will definately be back when we need to upgrade!
Today I visited the store and had the most amazing service by Emma L! She helped me figure out the straps on a silver cross pram I had previously bought from yourselves as they were digging into my 10 week old little boys neck. Absolute credit to your team and your perfume smelt lovely!!! Xx
We came into store with our newborn baby daughter. We were very unsure about which bottles would be the right choice for us so we asked for advice. We were served by Diane who was absolutely lovely. She made us feel at ease and explained everything to us to ensure we made the correct choice. She was very patient and spent time looking at all the options and making sure the bottles we got were the most appropriate. She gave us lots of extra very helpful tips too about feeding and winding baby which have helped loads. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Diane for all your help and you should be proud of having such great staff working in your store. Claire and Chris, first time parents to Jessica
