I had booked a 4D simply ultrasound for me and my partner as he was unable to make the 20 week scan, I'm currently 27 weeks +4. The room is lovely you wouldn't know that your inside a busy shop. The lady who we had for the scan was called Debbie i believe. She was outstanding, made us feel comfortable and special and we enjoyed every moment. Would recommend this to anyone.
This was a pretty large and well stocked branch of mothercare with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately it's closing at the end of March but I never had any problems using this branch over the past 7 years. They stocked buggies, seats, they will price match on these, clothes, maternity wear, nappies, toys, and lots of other stuff. Prices are reasonable and very cheap for basic stuff, also the quality is very good, I've noticed that baby clothes from other shops were not as well made or well designed, this I think shows mothercare's expertise in these matters. Will be sorely missed.
Absolutely excellent. The first visit was with an emotional, pregnant woman who burst into tears once in the shop. The girls were lovely and gave loads of advice and moral support and have continued to do so to this day. As a result Mothercare has become our first stop for all baby things. The staff are knowledgeable, always very friendly and they go out of their way to help. They will price match and there are a couple of good nearby coffee shops. The only downside I can see is that the car park for the retail park has been designed by a moron and there are often queues to get in and out.
What an awful experience... The only reason why I'm not giving 1 star is because the youngest lady from the staff at the car seats department tried to be as helpful as she could after what her colleagues did. We went to Mothercare at Newbury Retail Park to buy a car seat joie spin 360 and we asked for information about it, if it was compatible with our car, etc. We were immediately told that it wouldn't be possible to fit it and, instead of trying to point out other solutions and we do know they exist they didn't, that just kept saying that they wouldn't approve the sale and that we would have to sign a form if we still wanted the seat. I understand that regulations have to be complied with but the way they were explaining everything was just appaling and dismissive. As I said, excluding the young lady, the other two members of the staff weren't friendly or helpful at all! My wife and I got used to the costumer service at Mothercare in Reading, which is just excellent, and we were expecting the same kind of treatment here but unfortunately that didn't happen. At the end of the day they lost one deal and a cistomer as I'm not going back to that store anymore.
Staff are friendly. Not as big as other mothercare stores but all your basic stuff. Fairly pricey
Very nice shop to use the staff are so helpful went in for toys and the girl there was so polite thank you to all staff at newbury retail park spot on x
The regular staff are all mothers and very polite and helpful. Great place.
It was a good place for all your young kiddies needs .Alass shut-in down end of march .
Nice place too look for items for your own or a friends baby but price can soon add up!
Very poor customer service from the manager sales assistant tried to be helpful will never shop in this store again
