Lovely ground and very old school with some brilliant scenery in the distance probably one of the best grounds we’ve been to so far this season from a Stafford Rangers supporter. Good luck to Mossley for rest of this season your fans were sound we meet again in December
It was a busy Saturday afternoon, the bar was very busy and the cafe. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar, there was a good selection of food and hot and cold drinks at the cafe. External street parking for all supporters is not a problem. Moseley supporters that we mingled with were very supportive and helpful and friendly. Big thank you.
Excellent ground and facilities. Fabulous, friendly people. Outstanding volunteers who work tirelessly throughout. Approachable chairman who has gone above and beyond to help support Bury AFC. Excellent food and drink. Cracking social club. Fantastic view/backdrop to the ground. Good luck going forward
Really friendly crowd, great service for both drink and food. A slightly uneven pitch but nothing to complain about for our level and the views of the surrounding hills is fantastic. Would highly recommend.
Nice little ground with great staff and stewards.
A fantastic little football ground overlooking the Peak District. I got a lovely view of driving through Mossley Town Centre. Entry to the pitch was quite straightforward, parking outside may be difficult the closer to kick off time it gets. The clubhouse was nicely laid out, but was lacking some technology. There were two teles in the one corner of the club, but nothing on the other side. The bar was decent with a wide selection of drinks, the view from the stand was amazing, and the food at the hut was ok. The club shop was really good, and well organised. There were some negatives though, which is a real shame because this could have been a 5/5. But there was one cubicle in the gents toilet that hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It was disgusting. There was no programme unfortunately, so nothing to bring back to say I’d actually been to the game. The pitch is on a slant, this is because it’s in a mountainous area, and the water runs off naturally, though I can imagine that side of the pitch gets pretty boggy. There was one stand full of seats, but probably needs to expand, as there were a lot standing, and when it rained, everyone rushed in to the stand, blocking the view of the game as people tried to find remaining seats. All in all, great little place to go, but that toilet is bad.
Fantastic old ground. Stunning views all around. Weel stocked club shop. Good social club. Friendly staff and fans. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
