So many bad reviews, heartbreaking because I had a good experience today. I did ask for the chaps name but typically I've already forgotten it, but he wears glasses and has cool braided hair. They seem to have any smart clothes a man could want to try on there, and every time I'd ask for a new garment, he'd grab exactly what I wanted, and a couple of similar items too, which proved to be a devilishly good sales strategy because I walked away with basically a whole new wardrobe and I only came in for a pair of trousers. He didn't quite sell me on the £9 Marino wool socks though. Nice try mate. Between trying things on we chatted about all sorts and I felt super relaxed and kinda had fun too! I got alterations on trousers which fit wonderfully after it took them just the weekend to complete for me. Shop was clean, they seemed to work as a team well. Now I'm patiently waiting for one of my relatives to get married or something, so I have an excuse to use this excellent shop again.
They are collectively incompetent. If your order involves more than home delivery or picking up in store, don't bother. I placed an order for a suit about two weeks ago for collection in store. After a week passed without any update, I rang customer service and learned that the order had slipped through the cracks, but they managed to put it through again and called me in to pick it up the week after. Who knows what would've happened if I hadn't called them. The employee who helped me with my order in store two weeks ago said that further alterations are free. I explicitly asked him this in order to confirm, as many other suit shops in Leeds offer this free service. When I went to pick up my suit and alter it to fit me, they hit me with a fee close to 50% of the suit value, saying that it's company policy to pay for alterations and that the gentleman I spoke with initially couldn't have said that - essentially calling me a liar. The store staff was supremely disinterested altogether, both when taking my measurements and when discussing the extra fee. Perhaps he shouldn't be working there if he doesn't give a toss about the customers. All in all, I've wasted two hours in their store and two weeks of waiting for delivery. I will never be shopping again at Moss Bros.
Never ever get a custom piece made from these guys. Is sent out abroad to be made and then came back totally wrong not enough time to change before my event. It's relatively cheap for a reason the service was awful bad experience all round prevents me to even shop for normal clothes off the rack at Moss anymore
Poor customer service. One particular staff was very rude and impatient to me and my husband. He was racist and made us feel horrible. I am not an English native speaker and he made fun of me by not using the “right” words when I tried to explain what I was looking for. After that, he went to pick up my husband suit that we left there for alterations and when he came back, he literally threw the suit on us and didn’t even ask if my husband wanted to try the adjusted suit again. He left us by ourselves. We are definitely not going back to this store even though we really liked the quality of the product. By the way, I must say that another staff was very gentle to us when we were heading off.
Bad customer service. Didn’t allow me return a pants after few hours of buying it that I only wore to try it on me and test it. It was in a perfect condition but they said we can’t accept it because it has signs near the knees that somebody wore it!!! Of course I did to try it on me! Avoid this place unless you forgot about returning any item
Hi! I just want to say a massive thank you to Haleema for her expertise and patience in helping me and mates find the right fit for the wedding. We were pretty long and needed the time to perfect the look for the special day, so props to Haleema for enduring that. If you need to get sorted and are in the Leeds area get yaself down for elite customer service
Incompetent is the best word. Order went missing. Multiple phone calls later order finally came, turns out the ‘free’ alterations they lied to us about aren’t free at all. We’ve wasted a month on this when we could’ve had a better experience somewhere else. Wish I could say it’s the first time but we had problems with them last time we got a suit from them. Will never use again and will make sure everyone knows how utter dishonest and incompetent they are.
I don’t know why they suggest booking an appointment online for a ‘fitting’. No one there to give you any advice, really had to ask to get any service. The shop assistances were quite rude when we first came in, all stood around chatting instead of helping people.
Visited this store looking for a suit for my husband , we were lucky enough to have the help of Diane , she was super helpful , overall a great shopping experience that we was dreading - ended up been so much easier , by having the help from Diane.:
Very disappointed with the Leeds trinity department. I quite a lot buying suits from there. Recently I purchase a suit and we sent it for alteration, after a family emergency I had to call and put on hold the alteration for one day in case of the wedding was cancelled and I had £300 one the line. I called Moss Bros trinity Leeds and they were dishonest they told me at the the beginning that the alteration is already happened when I asked if I can come pick it up they denied and it wasn’t the suit there yet. eventually I called stitches the alternation company and they put in on hold. I called back moss bros Leeds to inform and they were hanging up the phone to me on purpose so they don’t lose the Sales!! They were very disrespectful dishonest and untrustworthy with me and my money. Eventually I bought the suit but never again. Andrew from Moss Bros Leeds with all due respect you need to change your behaviour towards the customers very snobby and unwelcome behaviour also you are an employee and we are the customers don’t forget that!
