Update August 11th 2023nDiesel up 10 pence per litre since last week, no wonder the big price signs were blank today. Morrisons is DEFINITELY profiteering.nnUpdate November 1stnDiesel now 26 pence per litre more than petrol. Wonder if that is why the large roadside price sign is not illuminated? Morrisons in Gibraltar now WELL IN EXCESS of 60 pence cheaper for every litre bought, compared to Inverurie!nnUpdate OctobernDiesel now 25 pence more per litre than petrol. A case of profiteering I would suggest!nAlso, how can Morrison's ship their diesel to Gibraltar and charge 60 pence per litre LESS than in the U.K.?nMaybe the new Chancellor of the Exchequer would care to offer his opinion.nnUpdate 23rd. August.nPrices dropping but still 19 pence per litre more for diesel.nnUpdate August 2022nAdmittedly prices of fuel are dropping but now there is 20 PENCE per litre difference between petrol and diesel. It does make any thinking person suspect big time profiteering though of course the biggest gain is still made by the government in taxes. 59 pence per litre in fuel duty PLUS VAT at 20% on both the cost of the product and 20% VAT on the fuel duty. Double whammy by our beloved leaders in London. Probably in the region of £1 per litre straight to the Treasury. Makes fuel companies look hard done by when they have to find it, get it out of the ground, refine it and transport it to retailers. All for less than 50% of the retail price.nnUpdate July 2022nWe all know about wholesale fuel prices rocketing over the past few months and also the fact that wholesale prices are now falling but Morrison's diesel prices yesterday must show how even supermarkets are now profiteering. Diesel at 17 pence MORE per litre than petrol equivalent to 78 pence more per gallon is ludicrous especially as diesel is cheaper to produce. You only have to look at European countries to see how drivers of diesel fuelled vehicles in the UK are being robbed by the retailers and of course the government.nAs a final point it would be most enlightening to hear Morrison's justification for charging a lot more for fuel in Inverurie than their supermarket in Peterhead. Presumably the fuel in both locations comes from the same source. Again it sounds like making extra money at the expense of the customer. Not something the company should be proud of.nnOriginal comment 2 yrs. agonIt's a petrol station! Not much more you can say. As good a price as you will find in Inverurie.
Went in last night to get fuel. Guy was to busy chatting to his mate on the phone to even bother saying anything to me, pointed at the card machine. Wont go back in a hurry

This station still has E5 super unleaded petrol which seems to be rare nowadays in favour of higher ethanol E10 which is not as efficient and a bit of a gimmick being less efficient means your mpg suffers. There are 2 car washes a drive through automated onevor self service one, access is good and it has all the products you will ever need from a good petrol station... Prices are usually pretty cheap if not the cheapest in the area comparison wise. Stocks E10, E5 petrol and std and super diesel at the pumps and oils /fluids etc in the shop.
