We ordered catering packs of sandwiches, continental meats, pasta salads etc for a 40th wedding anniversary celebration. The food was excellent and the service second to none. Thank you to all those involved. Brilliant service which I highly recommend! You helped make it a wonderful day.
Since they have removed all the checkouts and replaced them with self-serve ones it has been a shambles.nnLast weekend there were 5 customers stood at the self serve checkouts with flashing red lights. No staff to be seen. Then I looked over to the little kiosk where you can buy cigarettes and lottery tickets and 3 staff are chatting having the time of their life.nnStaff have 0 self awareness or are just lazy.
Great place for shopping groceries and household items. Prices are quite fair especially if you go for the savers options available.
Security guard honestly need to get a grip, staring kids down just because they are young. Just because a CHILD is in a the shop does not mean they are stealing. Honestly need to start getting skilled security guards or none at all. Today walking in the shop the security guard wouldn’t lay his eyes of me and as i was walking out he stepped forward as if the alarms were going to go off. Let me buy my things and leave.
Staff stood in large groups with goods trolleys chatting about drinking themselves silly at the weekend, security officer sat on a table watching his mobile phone, near the entrance. Rubbish on the floors, over priced and poor range of fresh goods, feels like the Co-op has been brought back to life..sic gangs of youths hanging around the entrance. The store is not big enough I can't wait to see the effect Aldi has on this shambles...
