Staff can be friendly or not. Eggplant for one pound was rotten - I had left two soft ones at check out - savers natural yogurt is top and unbeatable price... In general fruit and veg is of bad quality
I popped into this store in Bishop Auckland this morning for a cup of tea.nWe went to the cafeteria, we had to order on a screen and pay by card. We then had to help ourselves to what we had ordered on the screen.nI really didn't like this system at all and it was so impersonal to what I'm used to.nCoffee machine wasn't working properly so couldn't get what my husband had ordered.nOverall it just wasn't a pleasant experience.nThe shop itself lacked atmosphere and some of the shelves weren't stacked.nDidn't leave a good impression on me.
Salmon and steak night.nLisa, assisting the fish counter and young Taylor on the meat counter, very impressed with knowledge, care and customer focus, was impressive, especially young Taylor from the Butchers, who advised on correct cut, thickness even some cooking tips, and that's no disrespect to Lisa, who sought a better deal for the salmon I wanted.nService impeccable, meal spectacularnnWell done.
Good choice of fresh meat and fish. The bakery is always a nice treat as well.
I would rate Morrisons the worst of the supermarkets in Britain.nnExpensive with poor products. Poor fresh produce. Deals that are the same price as normal non promotional prices.nnAs soon as I realised there was an Aldi and a Lidl within a few minutes of here. I can safely say I will never need to shop here again.
