Plenty of parking, good range of goods a reasonable prices, less busy than Tesco. Friendly helpful staff, has self checkout that understands using your own bags and accepts cash. Pleasantly suprised
Best supermarket in Kingsbridge with amazing staff - especially Vanessa! I am so impressed by their commitment to employing people with additional needs. It’s a breath of fresh air to see a company giving everyone a fair chance, and they always go above and beyond for customers. I highly recommended Morrisons.
The staff are amazing! Always so polite and ready to help at a moment’s notice. Thank you for making our shopping experience such a great one
Repeatedly runs out of baked bread by 2 in the afternoon; it’s still open for 6 hours and it’s not like they’re making it from scratch! Why?! Only in Kingsbridge, I bet the better run ones in Plymstock and Totnes sell bread all day - cos it’s a staple… and they are a supermarket. Ffs.nnOur local Morrisons is better than our local Tesco in that its shelves are usually full and that it opens early which is helpful.nnThey don’t keep a very good selection of vegetarian snacks in the fridge section, Tesco is much better at this when it actually has something on the shelf.nnSame in the baked goods section, especially if your not a fan of cheese and onion, which is essentially the only veggie choice unless you can grab the single pack of now almost mythical vegan sausage rolls they produce at random.nnThe sandwich bit at the front is often bereft of choice and particularly lacking in veggies options. My main axe to grind here is that the egg mayo baguette used to be great but now seems to be made with deliberately stale bread, every time! So I’ve given up on that. Its awful and definitely shows that no one making them is trying them.nnI make specific criticism of the availability of vegetarian options because I know Morrisons does stock and produce a range of said options in these areas. I’ve seen them in their Plymstock and Totnes stores.nnFinally, their self check is on of the only ones I’ve seen in a store of its size that is regularly unmanned. I think this has improved recently but it’s still the case that the person who should be running it is off somewhere in the store or chatting to colleagues on the tills and I mean chatting, not working, they do nothing to hide the subject matter of their conversations.nnI don’t mind what staff do, except for when I’m in a bit of a rush it’s the middle of the working day and I only get half an hour for lunch and I’ve had to wait literal minutes, in a fairly empty store, for the correct staff member to see that I need them, finish up their chat, and then list towards me with no urgency at all speed that could be measured in millimetres per minute.nnI’m thinking of one or two ladies in particular who, despite my apologies and thanks, have looked at and spoken to me in a manner obviously intended to show that they are displeased with my interruption.
Very lovely store. Smaller than most but still stock as much as they can. Very good and nice prices
