Very good super market. Variety of products. Almost all the day to day range of products available. Groceries, veggies, fruits, drinks, wide range of fresh bakery products, meat, frozen food, home and kitchen products, cleaning and hygiene products, pet food, dairy products, and stationary products are available. It's one stop shop with various price tag. Their 'Saver' products are recommended, which are very reasonable.
There's too much rotting in the shelves, the self-checkout is extremely slow because it constantly halts as part of a broken security feature, after which you have to wait a couple minutes every time for an employee to show up and not do anything, so you can continue and do the whole thing over again. Huge waste of everyone's time. Getting groceries online is a hit or miss, either you get a load of rotting stuff with last week's best by date or you get what you paid for.
Love the wonky veg, regular veg at cheaper prices, nothing wrong with it. Although this is a town centre shop I felt it was lacking in choice although it has plenty of variety, meaning things like tinned goods only one or two manufacturers.
I had a highly unpleasant experience at the counter today, which I feel compelled to bring to your attention. I intended to purchase a sangria and presented my e-visa as identification. However, the staff member a tall man of Islamic background wearing a Palestine badge insisted on seeing my physical passport and, more disturbingly, commented that 'girls shouldn't drink wine.'nnI found this interaction both discriminatory and unprofessional. The remarks felt targeted at me because of my gender and were particularly upsetting as I was on my own. I kindly request that this matter be addressed to ensure all customers are treated with respect and fairness.
This store frequently puts items such as pringles and morrisons cafe items in the meal deal section which ARE NOT in the meal deal. This means your often charged £10 for a basic lunch once you reach checkout. I visit regularly and this happens frequently.
