It’s alright, but it was very quiet when I visited late on a Monday afternoon. The large car park has always been only partially filled any time I’ve been here so finding a space away from other cars isn’t an issue. The store not only sells food and drink but clothes, housewares, towels etc. Some of the shelves were rather low on stock however personally I only came in to see what they had on special offer on wine as I’ve found Morrisons to be the best at offering good discounts.
Hopeless. Not enough staff. Checkouts have long queues as many of them are not open. The cafe is never serving after lunchtime due to staff shortages. The local Morrisons store has gone downhill badly in recent months which is a great shame. I still shop there but not as regular and don't spend as much either.
Karen was an absolute nightmare to deal with. My young son politely went up and asked where he could find a barcode for a ball, and her response was simply, “No idea,” before turning around and walking off without even attempting to help.nnI decided to approach her myself, hoping for a better response, but she told me, “I can’t do anything, no one can,” in a dismissive tone. No effort, no alternatives, just complete indifference.nnThen, when my partner mentioned that she would be leaving a review about the lack of customer service, Karen suddenly could help us after all. So apparently, assistance was possible — just not until she realised her behaviour might be reported.nnIt’s completely unacceptable for a staff member to treat customers this way, especially children, and to only offer help when threatened with a bad review.
This store needs to do better for it's customers! I visited today and could not find a trolley, asked a member of staff to report it and organise more trolleys as they were all sitting at the far end of the car park, I was met with. It's not my job to do so attitude, it's too much trouble for me, attitude. I was disgusted. I then went to the cafe to order breakfast. Unfortunately, they're not able to do breakfast today because their machinery has broken down. The toilet facilities are disgusting, they are constantly dirty, they smell terrible and they are not cared for in any way, shape or form with broken locks, broken doors and filth on the floor. My visit to Morrisons in Hamilton is one of the worst I have had. This store needs to do better for its loyal customers i ended up leaving without shopping.nIt was awful. I will not be returning.
Put to 2 stars due to the night security guy who wheres the bandana!nFollows you around and its creepy. I can't concentrate on getting my shopping done. I feel like we all have a personal security guard following us around.nI have worked in the security industry for over 10years now and never have I felt this way about any other fellow security.nI do give credit where it's due and the day security is really nice. He has a quick chat and makes sure your ok, if you need anything he helps you find it when there's no morrisons staff around the Isles.
