We called in to the store today, and enjoyed a roast chicken meal and a fish and chip meal in the restaurant. Ordering was quick and easy. We were impressed by the care and attention paid to us, and to other diners, by the staff. The food was hot and tasty, and very plentiful. The chips were slightly overdone, but we arrived late, at 2pm, so that’s understandable. Bigger napkins would be nice, but that’s a minor niggle. A good experience all round. Thank you.
Came in for a few things and had breakfast in the cafe. Lovely store, lots of choices, and the vegetarian breakfast was lovely too, but the toilets on the way out do need attention: boards under sink ripped off and 2 out of 3 put back badly, and toilet roll holders open so the rolls fell out when you weren't holding your other hand to catch them. Sugar all over the baking shelves is a problem waiting to happen when the ant season starts in earnest.The two security officers at the doors who were busier talking to eachother than stopping shop lifters, also gives a bad impression. On the whole though I enjoyed my shopping experience, got the items I wanted and the till assistant was friendly.
Can someone PLEASE change the caramel sauce on the brownies. It really isn’t good at all and has an off putting taste, similar to meat drippings…almost like pork fat! the ONLY way I can describe the taste. The chocolate topping is lovely. Very rich and smooth.nWhat about a buttercream topping instead? Or something like that..
Typical Morrisons shopping experience nothing special but does well at what it’s for. The only thing is that there is camera controlled parking for three hours. So if you forget something and come back then a bottle of milk will be mega expensive
I had the unlucky experience of breaking down in the car park at Morrisons. I ended up spending a fair amount of time there after being let down by my breakdown cover 23 hours later, I was towed away!. The staff there were phenomenal. So friendly and understanding towards my situation. Checking in on me every few hours to see how I was getting on. They even brought me a coffee which was completely unexpected and really appreciated. As you can imagine, I spent a fair amount of time looking around the shop and purchasing items to keep me going. They have a great selection of fresh & deli items. I want to say a special thank you to the security guard who went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe and comfortable - always asking if there was anything they could do to help. Whilst there isn't a Morrisons local to me, I'll be sure to make sure I stop by any time I'm near.
