Absolutely disgusting in this Morrisons, talk about hygiene using the customer trolleys to empty rubbish from the bins outside then rolling them through the shop next to all the vegetables. Dirty old vegetables stuck down the back of the fridges. Just a hideous amount of water everywhere, safety hazards, hygiene hazards.
Poor stock control, basic items regularly sold out, especially salad. Frequent water spillages from aging refrigeration units which does not get cleaned up I imagine there is no cleaning staff during opening times, hazards are just left with a warning sign. Recently upgraded to 15 self-service with a single staff member to manage them which is not enough. It often feels they ignore the red flashing beacon indicating you need help. Frustratingly Morrisons is more expensive than Tesco and Sainsbury's yet this store is worse than any experience I've had at their competition.
It's an all too common occurrence where I visit a supermarket looking for one particular product and discover that it's not in stock . In some cases it never was in stock. Ailes of items that you don't want. Pre-made cake mixtures, tins of spam, refined and pasteurized products as far as the eye can see. Be careful as you could get lost in here, it's a fairly sizeable store
The car park ain't managed properly. Disabled bays abused by offenders. Car park full At 0900, store was empty hardly any customers.
The new self service tills are great. Just popped into Morrisons to top up my mum's shopping over the weekend. I was impressed that they have installed a new bank of self service tills. I often went into Morrisons and found the queues for the tills were long and lacked enough staff to manage them. Having more self services meant that I was able to get through quickly with my shop. The only downside I have been told is there are many customers taking the opportunity to steal due to only one staff member BB wing on duty at the self service tills. I really hope this could be dealt with so that these checkout remain and are not removed. This store has everything that I need.
Big store with plenty of produces & also have some other services here, children can have fun, disable shopping cart available and many more
I really enjoy this store but at times when I've been here it's been pretty sold out and I couldn't find everything I wanted. It's one of the cheapest stores I've been! But when the cucumbers for 89p are sold out I don't get selling half for £1.
Popped in here at 16:30 this evening, two checkouts open, big queue at the self service checkouts due to people taking their trolleys through to checkout their shopping. Two staff running backwards and forwards to “manage” the irate shoppers. No management to be found. Utter chaos. I just gave up in the end, left my few items on the side and walked out. Absolutely no improvement since I came here about three years ago! I’ll try again in 2026! … back to Sainsbury’s down the road it is!
Convenient - Good place to find things you need. The reason for the 3 star is because there's always mouldy fruit and veg or in terrible conditions. The fridge is always leaking and puddles on the floor. Frozen items are being left out or put away late, defrosted. So you may buy frozen products that have been frozen again.
Better than the frankly horrible Sainsbury's up the road. A good selection of cheese, bread, fruit & veg. On the downside it's very cramped and crowded, and tends to have long queues at the checkout even when it's not busy.
