Staff at self check out, especially a purple hair old lady so rude. Every time we wait so long for a bag, and she comes with horrible attitude. I'm a customer here and I would like a better treatment as I don't do anything to these people
Good place Morrisons in Jarrow in fact my daughter loved it as she had her own trolly to push around, wish we had them at our own end kids would love going shopping with parents.
Had a few items to buy and wanted to pay by cash. Went to the self service checkouts of which there were many unused but was surprised NONE of them accepted cash!! Other checkouts were very busy so just put items back and left.
Young staff speeding around with bigger trolleys, not mindful or helpful. Till staff mostly pleasant and helpful. However, a lot of stuff does not have prices on, it's always a mess and you often have to go looking for trolleys.
No staff in shop. Waited 15 minutes to get alcohol no one arrived. So put shopping back. One woman on self service tills and one woman on cigarette counter chatting to each other. Absolute disgrace. It’s all about making profit customers don’t matter. Won’t be returning and telling everyone I know.
Think it’s disgusting locking the toilets at a certain time especially the baby change when parents or single parents have to go to the toilet, my fiancé asked the reception to open the baby change for us to go to the toilet as I’m pregnant and got informed by one of your staff members not to go in the disabled as it hadn’t been cleaned and it was disgusting and I didn’t want to go in a toilet that was so unhygienic really no need to shut a toilet when the shop it’s self doesn’t shut till 10 and they really need cleaners to keep on top of the toilets appalling behaviour
Used Morrisons several times at various sites, always had good service.
BEWARE the tire compressor machine at Morrisons Jarrow. It is an absolute disaster. I tried to inflate my tires. It kept showing E 1 for all my tires and didn't pump them up. I complained and was told E 1 means a problem with my tire. I did get my money back from the kind man behind the counter. Next day my back tire was flat. I walked into Jarrow and bought my own compressor, pumped it up and when to a local garage. The very kind man checked it and said there was no problem with my tire. What he did say was that he was getting A LOT OF PEOPLE coming in with the SAME PROBLEM after using the tire compressor at Morrisons Jarrow because it pushes the nib into the tire valve and then does not release it, which makes it a slow leak and therefore a flat tire in the morning. Thanks to Morrisons Jarrow tire compressor I spent a whole morning finding this out. I am not happy. Don't offer a service that is not fit for use.
Store is falling apart , needs alot of work to get back to a good standard , cabinets are awful and staff very unhelpful , cashier was texting more she was helping us , very unprofessional
I am annoyed at how the store cancelled my two orders for surprise bags through the too good app. When I went into store they said they had up until 3pm to cancel this if they didn't have enough food, the email updates and changes to my reservations didn't come through until after 3.05pm so this is very annoying and poor customer service especially when the order was placed the day before. I think you need to get a better idea of how to predict what you have before you announce onto an app, at least if you do have plenty left over you can give it to the people scrounging outside your supermarket asking for money! At least you'd be doing something useful.
