Decent run of the mill grocery store. Good for all basic supplies. They have some plant based meat and milk alternatives but it's a basic grocery chain. If you want fancy produce and organic lettuces and such that would be a different stop afterwards in my opinion but fine for most everyday items.nIMPORTANT NOTE- everyone parks there to walk to the high street. You get 2 hours free parking but you can pay and park longer.
Great supermarket! This Morrisons supermarket is a large supermarket located in Totnes. There is a car park on site with 2 EV charging bays. There is a Morrisons Cafe and a Nutmeg Clothing store too. Also Market Street is at the back of the store which is a fantastic addition. They have a great free from section too. The staff were great too! The exterior of this store is lovely too.
I needed to see the pharmacist in Morrisons Totnes as I had a water infection and was due to drive 5 hours home that day. Hannah was so lovely, she gave me antibiotics and explained how critical it is to get them as soon as symptoms start. I was able to drive home with only 3 stops , without them I would have been stopping at almost every single services.nShe was really lovely, thank you for your support.
Store seems to be getting worse. Blaring music. Poor stock control with frequent multiple empty shelves and freezers. No tidying away of emptied box / plastic rubbish. Till layout so ill thought out you can’t see what tills are free so queues form. No bags by till and held like some rare commodity by member of staff who is rarely there when you need them. Looks like they are planning to move to exit from tills with evidence of purchase which assumes shoppers are all common criminals. Stock in freezers some barely frozen yes weather has been hot but other shops can cope. What a shame the supermarket isn’t taken over by a competent brand.
