Worst cafe ever. Waited forty minutes to get food that is absolutely disgusting. 1 star is too good for this place. Below attached is supposed to be mushy peas, although you wouldn’t be able to tell.
Really disappointed of late! There seems to be a big issue with stock and replenishing? Out of 9 important items I went for, I managed to find just 2! This was the last in a long line of visits in the same vein. TBH, I'm seriously considering looking elsewhere if it doesn't improve .
I think the team that work in this store are utterly brilliant. I did my ‘big’ Christmas shop today and everyone I came across was helpful, happy and in the festive spirit, despite how hard they must have all had to work. I bloody love this store
Went to this store for first time in age's, thought I'll have one of your famous breakfasts I walked into their cafe it looked filthy in the end after waiting 10mins to get served no cup mugs coffee machine not working second one out of order eventually got the machine working went and sat down at a table there was all manor of debris over the top of the table looked like it needed a thorough good clean the floor was dirty someone had left mud on the infact I was quiet taken aback at how dirty the place was....!! and how under staffed the place was in general...!!
Morrisons here have been awarded the highest award in Britain for the coldest supermarket 2023. 12.1c in their restaurant. On asking many of the staff why it is so cold, the reply was ' broken heating system'. 'It's been like this ever since I have worked here'. Or the manager said it was costly to heat the building '. So there you have it. An exciting opportunity to enjoy and it was warmer outside than in Morrisons supermarket at Beccles.
Clean and tidy store, the staff I spoke to were approachable and friendly, different layout from when I last visited a few years ago but apart from that nothing has changed, tills were fairly empty so no waiting around and that was around mid afternoon.
Beccles has a good selection of supermarkets and Morrisons isn't the best. On today's visit we were overcharged on two items and had to query the till receipt and to be refunded £8.00! How can the till scanners not be synced to the shelf prices is beyond me. Peppers? Nope. EV chargers? Nope. Only one till open? Yep.
The newly refurbished cafe is a joy and a pleasure to grace your presence with. Spacious, clean, and bright. Meals are fantastic and quickly arrived at our table. I'm vegetarian and I'm pleased to say that their vegan/vegetarian options are very full of choice. The staff are lovely. Particularly the blonde haired waitress who served us was so friendly and kind.
Great that they still have a cold sliced meat and hot chicken counter most supermarkets haven't anymore
