I am absolutely appalled with today’s service. I ordered from here using uber eats to get some essentials. The bread they sent me was literally MOULDY, it was a whole month expired. How is this acceptable?!?! Clearly shows they don’t stock rotate and throw out the bad stuff
I have n,t been to the 5 Lane Ends one for a while so today i went shoppling and went to the warm chicken counter , wheres it gone , i bought a box of ribs dry and a box of chicken thighs oil in the box , when it was staffed they were friendly and helpful and the produce was better quality and the store itself was quiet , it used to be really busy but not now , can,t think why ! , think i,ll give it a miss next time
Located off the Five Lane Ends roundabout is one of Morrisons largest stores. As you turn I towards the car park the petrol station is located on your right . Go to next roundabout in the car park and turn right.nFor the store itself go straight across towards the main building . There is plenty of parking . The disabled parking is located both at the left and the right side of the large covered walkway 18 bays I think . Mother and child parking next to them . I couldn’t reverse in and unload my chair onto the walkway due to the numerous bollards in place. So I had to unload across the lane between the bays keeping an eye out for traffic . As I approached the main entrance there are trolley bays and on the wall to the left of the entrance there are 3ATMs .nTo enter the store there are two double sets of automatic opening doors . Inside to your left is the Kiosk and food to go to avoid the main store.nThe store itself is revamped in the now familiar “Market Street “ style with the Butcher , baker etc,nAlso in the store is a cafe and Barista bar also now in familiar style of pastel coloursnA Max Speilman photo shop, customer toilets , inc disabledbroken door lock .Service desk .plus several self scan checkoutsnAlong the back of the 30 checkouts you will also find An Amazon locker BYRON as well as a small branch of Rowland pharmacy .There is also steps and a ramped exit/entrance to /from shopping precinct .nYou will also find a Nutmeg department in store.
I've shopped here over forty years and I'm afraid to say it's gone down the pan. Over the last year it's been empty shelves and sub standard products . . . meat especially.
I have just been across to Morrisons at enterprise 5 in Idle with my mum. I would like to say a big thank you to Lewis who went above and beyond to help us find some cooked whole chestnuts. I do hope this review does get back to him and well done Lewis.
