Went on a Sunday morning. Breakfast which was fresh and tasty. There was only one server and I felt he was over worked. If you are an NHS worker then you get to enjoy free tea. Overall, a decent place!
Absolutely shocking customer service half of our food or drinks were unavailable waited half an hour to speak to someone and even then they made us feel stupid told us to get an alternative which there was nothing for the same price. They should turn it back to a costumer service cafe where you actually speak to staff as long as they are polite where as they wasn’t in this instance.NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!
Very nice staffs. We ordered 4 meals x2 total 8 meals, they confirm with us if we double ordered wrongly. Waiting time was not too long.Food: 4/5
Sadly having had previously visited I suggest they change tableware . The service was appalling clearly someone on a managerial level was apparent yet service was extremely poor food cold tableware does not hold heat issue with just eat person more interested in that issue than eaters in dining area. Service slow meal served over 30 mins after ordering no butter for toast tables grimy film of grease chairs to high to support table height. Table not cleaned film of grease and undercooked egg smeared on top. Very very disappointed. Word to the wise mobiles don't create ambiance nor does a manager in a puffer coat . As a business you lack basic genre . Absolutely disgusting. Don't ride ya rage if ya not dressed fa the part and don't open if ya tables aren't clean . Apple juice from dispenser sour out of date . I expect to hear from you. When you clearly only had 6 to 10 tables at a push being used and thru my watchin complaints from most undercooked cold discrepancy from order. Staff on mobiles. Word to the wise read and make ya own choice my thoughts on future visits?
As usual a great breakfast and a good cup of coffee, understaffed slightly so a little wait for cutlery and milk. Apart from that it was well worth the visit and I shall return. Vegetarian options: Seems to be a lot more breakfast vegan options for the snowflakes, but to me a full English breakfast should still be as it was.
The ultimate breakfast was too big, can’t move now and I’ve got to go back to work. The mushrooms were on steroids, tomatoe chopped straight in the produce aisle. The sausages spent 12 minutes on the sunbed, bacon must of gone on the sunbed still in its packaging. Wouldn’t go back again I’m afraid
Never complained about somewhere before but having to wait an hour and half for a fry up & a kids chicken nugget meal is a joke. They couldn't say they was busy as the place was nearly empty. Not one person came to us to say sorry but we're running behind. The food eventually came and I've got to say it's the most horrendous fry up I've ever seen or attempted to eat. It was cold, hard and so dry! My sons chips was teeth braking. Never ever going back to that cafe again
Shocking , I remember enjoying many meals here , wow how it’s changed , machines didn’t work . The member of staff on the till , to put it mildly was not quite upto task , I’ve never had such a difficult experience ordering food in my life and don’t get me stated on the kids meal . I should of gone with my first thought and gone to Ashby lodge
Normally I like this cafe as I live only 2 minutes away but I MUST say somthing after todays, let's say lack luster experience. To start with the place was quiet, maybe 3 other diners but the cue at the till was around 6 people long and nobody was out front. We was all stood there for about 3-4 minutes before anybody noticed. Then when everyone was noticed instead of an apology or any reassuring comment all got was essentially told off for not using the machine to order. Normally I would but we had cash and it doesn't take cash but the angry look we got was awful. That was then taken out on us in my opinion by the food we was served. I ordered toast and eggs. Normally very good. This time the eggs were majorly overdone and the toast was literally black charcoal. Completely unacceptable customer service today. Staff is so rude, dont expect any customer service from this place.
Avoid this cafe went for a drink as we were in the area had to remove 8 or 9 mugs from the rack before find 1 that didn't have tea stains in them we had bought cakes and looking through the stack of plates it seems has if the had just been cleaned but they were either wet or had crumbs or other food stuck to them . Morrisons have made it self service so the only staff available are the ladies bringing out the food and the poor girl was inundated with complaining customers l really felt sorry for her needless to say we won't be going back
