Visited August 2021. Visited late afternoon on a rather sunny summer day. Was expecting it to be packed with other tourists but was pleasantly surprised and easily found a table. The new national menu has removed my regular choices, so opted for the southern fried chicken with chips and salad & coleslaw. I was pleasantly surprised, the salad was plentiful as were the chips, so for the price it was good value. Everything seemed prepared to my order, as looked and tasted fresh plus it took a little while to arrive. The only thing that was a bit of a letdown was the coleslaw, as it was mainly the grated veg but with just a tiny bit of watery mayo. Would certainly give this one another try if in the area.
After waiting an hour for breakfast the only item remotely warm was the sausages! The mushroom was raw as were the tomatoes and the poached egg was more like hard boiled! Extremely disappointing
We visited today Southport store 20 July at 13.27 for first time since lockdown. Have been in quite a few times previously to covid. I don’t know the name of the guy on the till is but he’s very abrupt, tall slim guy. All other staff were great, we heard them explain to customers where the condiments were etc but not this guy. He told us which table we were having never had chance to choose our own. But heard others assistants asking customers where would you like to sit? I asked for soft poached eggs both were hard. Yes could have returned it but had waited a while and wanted to get shopping done. Not our best visit by far.
Absolute disgrace, not only this site. The morecambe cafe is also disgusting. Untrained staff, managers that don't care and head office don't give a dam. Health & hygiene especially at this time is far worse than it ever was. I emailed ceo who said they'd pass my concerns on to store management, It's store management that allow this to continue. THE FOUNDER MUST BE TURNING IN HIS GRAVE. ITS A NATIONWIDE EMBARRASSMENT I WILL NEVER GIVE MY MONEY TO ANY PART OF MORRISONS AGAIN.
Arrived at 12.45 and ordered and paid remotely. Went to get drinks to find no cups. Not staff in restaurant vicinity so had to find member of staff of shop floor
Under staffed and badly managed. Felt sorry for staff no manager to be seen as people complained after waiting for near an hour. Also had a bad stomach later that night, can't prove it was morrisons cafe.
Absolutely dreadful. 25 min wait for good, dirty tables, no staff, no cups, no cutlery, never ever again
Absolutely disgusting we went there this morning tables were so dirty there was that much food left on tables teapots are absolutely disgusting I've never seen nothing like inside a teapot the try where you get your tea and coffee from were so dirty how it's still open I don't know
The worst breakfast I have ever had 30 th of sept 2020 Bacon was raw Everything thrown on the plate Full of watery grease My wife could not eat it Everyone was complaining It must have been someone who had never cooked in their lives Before !!! Will never go in again
Cold, under cooked bacon and dirty cutlery. Definitely would not visit again.
