Been here twice in the last couple of weeks. This will be the last. Both times the service has been shocking. This time we stood for 5 minutes before anyone even appeared to take the order. Then waited 50 mins for the breakfast. I was then brought the wrong breakfast and told they did not have what I ordered. Just got my money back and left. Waste of time. Save yourself the hassle, go to the cafe in the Denny tank museum. Food is better and the service is much better.
My girlfriend and I came here and self-ordered everything fine. Machine told us to help ourselves to our hot chocolates but the machine itself was just pumping out hot milk. I carried the cups to the manned checkout with the intention of just letting the staff know that the machine probably needed some attention before we could get our drinks. However, I stood at that counter for almost 10 minutes, which is a long time when you're literally just stood waiting. I could hear staff in the back kitchen talking away with absolutely no presence in the actual cafe. Anyone could have walked up and stolen off the counter without them knowing, or perhaps elderly who don't know how to use the self-order process and want to speak to an actual human on a checkout, they would have been left there with no service like I was. In the end, a woman poked her head out a door the other side of the self-order machine, nowhere near the manned checkout, and I walked over and told her about my hot chocolates only for her to get the help of a colleague in telling me that it "wasn't working" and we should "try for a coffee instead". Later my girlfriend went up and just asked if we could get two soft drinks instead, but to be honest we could have easily just gone up and taken them regardless due to the lack of presence and customer service in the cafe. Food was okay, but very disinterested staff.
A nice wee Kids / Family friendly Cafe , good selection menu items for vegetarian and Vegans . It's very Spacious clean and tidy, well organised, lite and airy I love places with big Windows were u can enjoyed the day light , there is also a Kids play area to keep them entertained . I totally love the self ordering and pay. "Android pay available" Been there for breakfast before going to dumbarton Castle , it wasn't buys , food was great fresh and Hot and the service was fast , staff are very friendly . Am not a vegetarian person but decided to go with with the vegetarian breakfast " big vegetarian Butty" and it was absolutely delicious Its reasonably priced. Wallet friendly Totally love that place .
Self order machine sucks - still queuing. Morrisons cutting back on manpower and aiding the ‘great reset’ fiasco. Make your own tea and coffee despite the prices. Do they want us to cook our own breakfast next time?
Had a pretty decent Christmas lunch here today. You get 2 courses for £6.50!! Ok, it's not high class dining, but for the price it's fantastic. The prawn cocktail was great, and the turkey Christmas lunch was pretty good. Outstanding value for money.
Had breakfast as it was reduced to half price. It was piping hot. Service was good. Did not have to wait to long even as it was quite busy. Great value for money.
What a waste of time and money, service was extremely slow and the food came out luke warm at best. Just find somewhere else to eat instead is my advice
Had small breakfast, really enjoyed it, prices are really good, also didn't have to wait long for my breakfast.
Staff were lovely and meal was great. The only problem I could comment on was the Order machine did not recognise the Happy meal just i.e. Chicken nuggets and chips only. As child's food was free I had not noticed it was not in on the receipt and had to wait until it was ready.
First off got our order wrong, got charged for 4 coffee instead of 2 like we asked, and also we ordered 3 hash browns and they put it on our plates instead of separately like we asked because the person who wanted them didn't like any of the stuff in the breakfast. Everything was cold I don't know if they didn't cook it or if it was sitting there for a while. When we said to them their mistakes they were rude and you could tell they didn't want to help, only the young man who came over after the woman wondered off and didn't come back was helpful. We did get our money back for it which is the only reason I'm not complaining about why I can't give 0 stars
